Klepinger and Kosobud, two defenders who didn't get a lot of ice time this year for Minnesota in the portal. With all of the top 6 blueliners at least eligible to come back I'm not surprised to see this. Wish good things for the both of them.

Goalies starting to pile in. Emma-Sofie Nordstrom will be a great pickup for someone. Skylar Vetter and Julia Minotti are in the portal too.

That one surprised me. I know she did not get a ton of playing time this season, but she got some playing time. I don't understand why some of these first-years come in and expect a boatload of playing time coming into a national title-contending program. I guess things are different these days. Maybe it wasn't about playing time. Maybe OSU was just not a fit for her. I wish her the best. I did not get to talk to her that much because the redcoats (ushers) kick the fans out right after the games so we can no longer mingle with the players after the games, but she seemed like a good kid. Hope she finds a suitable landing spot where she can play a lot and continue to develop.

I see she's from rodentdsota, lots of competition for her. Which school is closest to her hometown?

She is from Stillwater, so the closest schools would be St. Thomas or Minnesota.
If she landed with the Gophers, that would be hilarious....she slammed that door closed pretty hard already. I don't see that being a good rebound for either party.

I heard, maybe on this forum, that the injury occurred off-ice. But it was fairly early in the season.
