I'm sure by 2026 some government will have created a chain reaction in the atmosphere to knock out most of the satellites in Earth's orbit. :-D

I'd take the over. And I'd bet it being from old space debris (pre-SpaceX era) or naturally from a dust or other extraterrestrial debris.

But I am as worried about the nascent space programs (India, China, etc) as much as the fuckfaces like Musk and Bezos.

And blames the Jews for making him *dislike* Jews.

It seems like he’s interested in a bit more apartheid across more groups, and less interested in actual free speech on his totally* free speech platform.

*Free speech is to be decided upon the not-for-thee-just-for-me model.

In the TV World, Charter dropped all the Disney channels from it’s cable network including ESPN. Typical cable business stuff, but the real news is the response from Charter to customers: They’re actively pushing them to services like Fubo and YouTubeTV while keeping customers subscribed to their internet services. Basically, one of the largest cable providers in the country is getting out of the video market.

A la carte hell coming soon to a television near you.

A la carte is never going to be a full on thing...the streamers have guaranteed that. (As has the strike)

Di$ney is now off Spectrum and Charter...I sense more cuts at ESPN coming.

BTW off topic but I chose Sling and picked the package without ESPN and don't miss it one bit. Then again i really only watched PTI...

Yeah, it's quickly becoming a thing where you have to string together whatever streaming services will get you what you want.

They won't do it, but can you imagine the speeds available over cable internet if they removed the video signal split from the bandwidth and made it 100% (or even 80 or 90) data?

For what though? Like, 1.0 Gbps can stream something like 8 devices at 8K

there is literally no need for it.
