Yep, still here
He wants his conventional forces annihilated? Because I'm pretty sure the Americans would've stepped in.
Spying on New Zealand's nuclear arsenal?
Jesus fuck.
WWII gets most of the eyeballs in movies and media. But after listening to Blueprint for Armageddon, WWI's horrors are vastly underestimated by the general public. Truly horrific stuff in those winters.
WW1 was an atrocity. And unlike WW2 which had very ideological lines drawn in the sand it was more of a free for all for many of the countries not named France, Britain and Austria-Hungary.
America talks about a generation lost through death in Vietnam...WW1 did that for all of Europe and it was senseless and vile.
Yeah, the imagery of what the soldiers actually experienced in the winters of WWI is horrific. Bodies frozen into the ground run over with vehicles. Spending weeks in trenches with your dead buddies. No modern antibiotics. Just nightmarish stuff.
On the off chance that there is a narrow slice of people who are aviation buffs but nevertheless unaware, the B-21 rollout is happening this Friday. Live stream begins at 7:30 pm Eastern at B-21 Raider - Northrop Grumman (https://www.northropgrumman.com/what-we-do/air/b-21-raider/).
100+ of those will be a huge shot in the arm for US power projection compared with the 20 B-2 "silver bullets" that we have today.
Thanks for that. It’s not going to actually fly until next year right?
So, besides Putin's small dick has any other reasons for this war been documented at this point?
No, that's pretty much it. A 70 year-old autocrat who thinks he's the second coming of Stalin or Peter the Great, shooting his shot at putting the empire of his child and early adulthood back together, figuring he'd start with the Baltic ports and the bread basket, and failing thanks to a series of incredible miscalculations for a guy who was previously thought of as an evil genius. Putin was duped into thinking The Bear wasn't corrupt as hell and made out of paper - he was wrong. He thought The Bear would be greeted as liberators in the eastern provinces - he was wrong. He thought he could get Ukraine to quickly capitulate with a campaign of "shock and awe" - he was wrong. Putin thought the West would have its hands full with fuel & food prices, Internet conspiracies that his regime fuels, nuke threats against NATO, and other distractions to prevent them (especially the US) from providing much assistance to Ukraine - he was wrong. He thought his buddy Xi and the CCP would back him up - he was wrong. He thought the Russian economy was self-sufficient enough to survive hardcore sanctions against its global partners - after keeping up a facade for most of the summer, it's quickly tanking now, so he's wrong again.

We go from 10 times the power projection of every other military in the world combined to 11 times?
