Grand Unified Election Thread 2: What is the difference between Biden and Dump?

Remember how HORRIFYING it was when BLM marched near a (gasp) *Federal* Courthouse in Portland? And it was open war because they stepped on the lawn?

Those guys with the body armor, zip ties, sidearms, and butane torches, who were ushered in through a side window while all the cameras were on dip****s in horns and the National Guard had been ordered off the property, may have come within five minutes of destroying the ballots on the day they are constitutionally required to be opened and counted. But the aides had stopped and asked, “shouldn’t we take these with us?” I’m pretty sure Chris Miller is on a first name basis with these guys.

The aides who grabbed the ballots should be given medals, I have no idea which one is available for that.

This is a tremendous watch:

For those wondering if it’s worth impeaching him this time, it means he:
1) loses his 200k+ pension for the rest of his life
2) loses his 1 million dollar/year travel allowance
3) loses lifetime full secret service detail
4) loses his ability to run in 2024

I wonder if some of these republican members of congress (many of them no smarter than the average MAGAt) realize that had this mob gotten a little further a little quicker, many of the MAGAts would have had no idea who a lot of the individual members were. They could easily have harmed or killed a republican member of congress, maybe even one of their own. While that thought is nice to ponder, one would think these loonies would realize that trump endangered them all, the complicit law enforcement officers who stood down or helped direct insurgents in useful directions endangered them all, and the handful of republicans who put the whole thing into motion endangered them all.

I will always come back to this. These people had too much adrenalin to discern who was who in Congress. Let alone they had threatened the lives of some specific racist party members. For sure, had the bodies not been taken out, someone would have been assaulted, attempted kidnapped, and probably murdered. This was a direct attach on Congress as directed by the President. Not Democrats, but ALL of Congress- because they were doing what they were required to do by the law of the Constitution of the United States of America.

This is exactly where I want to see racist party members sign off that they were perfectly ok with that. Why impeachment needs to happen. Put it on record who is against a Democratic Republic since they were ok with a directed attack on Congress by a mob directed by the POTUS. Words have consequences, actions have consequences, and lack of both also have consequences.

Impeach dumpy TODAY, and put on record who was for this. This needs to be held against them in all future elections. And if they are re-elected, then we all know who not to spend our money on.

And I pray to see more dumpy flags from businesses, as that directs me to know who the traitors of our society are, and I will refuse to spend money with them.

People may not like Chris Hayes from MSNBC, but just watch the videos that are being shown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhjRXO72v1s&ab_channel=MSNBC

One of the cops was being assaulted, and didn't fight back. So these guys were attacking cops, and if they were black, they would have been shot- since they get shot from walking away.

The video of the people who were egging on the video- all of them need to go to jail for life. dumpy, rudi, whatever that guy from alabama. That was a direct call for violence against Congress. That was not encouragement, that was orders.

People were chanting "Kill Pence"- seriously. How did these people walk away without getting arrested for that????

Michael Smerconish criticizing social media companies right now and think he’s bang on. They’re just making things worse.

I wonder if Pence made a deal with trump that he wouldn't push the 25th and he wouldn't publicly pressure him to resign in exchange for trump laying low, issuing no blanket pardons and staying away from Biden's inauguration. ...

Five years on the political stage, a lifetime of corporate life in the public eye, and volumes of articles showing his track record...

... and *now* you think Trump is finally listening to other people telling him no? He surrounds himself with yes men for a reason, because he gets to twirl his little mushroom cap d*ck around and make everyone do his bidding.

The only people who can *ever* back him off a ledge are his children, and that's only when his actions can directly affect them (and even then that's up for debate). There are reports that "top aides (ie: Ivanka (I think WaPo actually named her and only her))" convinced him to finally "concede."

I forget who said it here, but they're 100% right: Trump and his kids are going to jet off to foreign countries after January 20th and start selling every state secret for as much money as possible. Meanwhile Sicatoka jerks himself off at night thinking about how that b*iches email server could have potentially been a security nightmare and our country is a safer place with Trump.

I mean, it's not like a track record of keeping Bill's indiscretions secret for decades wouldn't translate into also keeping state secrets secret.

My thought process while reading these:

So what. It looked like all of them had some stupid flag or another

Man! That's heartless.

Really? You guys are that friggin cruel?

Lights come on! Remembers what it says on the Gadsden flag. Starts laughing out loud. Stops laughing. Goes to the box for two minutes. Feels shame.

Re- compassion for those who died on Wed.... Other than the cop.

ask yourself some questions...

When you heard Ossama Bin Laden was killed by US troops who went into Pakistan and killed him, how did you feel? Did you feel bad for OBL, or relieved that the US got some revenge, or relieved that a direct threat to the US was dead?

Libya's died on the attack on our Embassy in Benghazi, otherwise they would have taken it. Do you feel bad for those attackers who died? Or relieved that their attack didn't make it, and it was ok that some attackers died?

If you didn't feel sorry for any of the above deaths, including people outside of that group, then why in the world should we feel sorry for people who died attacking our US Capitol building???? How is this attack forgivable when the ones above needed to be defended and people needed to die?

I do not feel sorry for the woman who got shot in the face and died. She was attacking our country. Treason has the penalty of death. I do not feel sorry for someone who was trampled by friendly fire- give me a break- they killed each other? Fine. Heart attack? you wanted to attack our country, and was not in shape, sucks for you. And the rumor that someone fell to their death when there was a stairway- dumbness in an attack does not give you any compassion.

I'm actually disappointed that cops didn't fight back when they had the position to hold with force. Worse that they did little when one of their own was being crushed and attacked by the mob. How in the world do people who attack this country and attack cops walk away without being at least arrested????

We are in a pathetic country when a black man gets shot in the back 7 times just getting in his car, but attackers on our country, assaulters of our cops, etc had just ONE SHOT at them. One.

And don't expect people to have compassion for those who died attacking our country. The only people who can stand on that moral ground are ones who honestly felt bad for OBM and the attackers in Benghazi. Otherwise, it's a hypocritical moral standing.

I'm relieved there weren't more casualties among the Nazis not because I respect Nazis but because we don't need them having martyrs.

This was terrorism. We don't need Cruz and Hawley tub thumping the Capitol Building is the Winter Palace and this was Bloody Sunday and 74 million dips mindlessly repeating it.

We are facing a long project of DeNazification (which we should study as a precedent that worked). Bloodshed will just give these psychopaths something to rally around and a reason to cling to their cult even tighter. You can see their avoidance to realize what they have become here on the Cafe. Now imagine even less intelligent and more vicious conservatives out there in the wild, fully armed and drunk on their own farts.

I said it yesterday- I fully believe he just starts selling secrets and more people die

We need to stop this martyr crap. When you put it like that, it's pretty much the same as how actual Islamic terrorist think. If they actually rely on being mad at their own being killed, and that spurs them on to further violence, well.... More of them will die, then.

As far as I can tell, the only language they understand is being out violenced, and that's it. So far, the fact that NOTHING happened is spurring them WAY more than if 20 people died when cops open fired on a attack of our Capitol building. Which has been the pattern for the last years- they poke, and upset, and hurt, and accuse and lie and etc. etc. etc- just to find the boundary and how car they can go. THAT lead to our Capitol being attacked Wednesday.

dumpy had gotten away with encouraging this behavior for 4 solid years. IMHO, worrying about them being martyrs just lets them find a more outrageous and dangerous stand where nothing will be done.

Our US Capitol building was successfully attacked on Wed. If people are not pushed back at that action when it was happening, more of that will happen. If people died due to the defense of said attack, I'd suggest the people will reconsider their allegiance with dumpy and his cronies. Again, if they actually think being martyrs will get more people behind their attacks- go for it. At some point the cops who are doing nothing will be forced aside and the people who will stand up for this country will use the far better arms to stop them.

Cops have former military *stuff*- the attackers just had helmets and bullet proof vests. Armored cars will win that day.

This. Stop trying humanize Trashli Babbitt, along with that retired AF colonel who was ID'ed, and the rest of the rubes who committed armed insurrection against the government on Wednesday. They aren't patriots - they stopped caring about America as a democratic republic years ago. They are terrorists who were radicalized by far-right media and the echo chambers they built for themselves, and they care only for their own delusional version of "truth".
