Your team, or nemesis, in short words

Re: Your team, or nemesis, in short words

I think I like BeeCee least,
Of any Atlantic puck beast,
They think they're hot stuff,
But it's not really tough,
To see they're just Notre Dame (East).

The Denver Pioneers...counting the days till the hockey crown returns to the right part of the country.

Re: Your team, or nemesis, in short words

There once was a team called the Gophs,
their ice skills they sure liked to boast.
Come tournament time,
their play did decline.
They ended up not very close.

Okay, not very good, I know. I blame my public education. :D

Re: Your team, or nemesis, in short words

Just getting this one out of the way before one of our JR haters comes along:

There once was a coach named Russell
Whose teams just never had hustle
The forwards lacked stones
The defensemen were cones
Frequent injuries included torn muscles

Re: Your team, or nemesis, in short words

No titles to go
With their game winning pucks,
One minute to go,
And CLARKSON STILL SUCKS!!!

Re: Your team, or nemesis, in short words

Wisconsin, Wisconsin, claimed "Defense of the Ages"
But now through history they'll see "BC" on the pages.

The Gophers, The Gophers, with the vaunted "M" shirt,
When will they realize they're face down in the dirt.

St. Cloud, St. Cloud, finally won an NCAA game,
But come this fall the Concrete's rafters stay unchanged.

North Dakota, North Dakota, their Board says "no more Sioux",
But even without ... they're still better than you.

Read the picture.

<------

(It's a "common saying" among Cornell hockey fans, anyway.)
For Tech it was:

06-07: Win or lose, we booze.
08-09: Tie or lose, we booze.
09-10: Lose or lose worse, we booze.

Re: Your team, or nemesis, in short words

A school that exists in Grand Forks
Whose supporters are quite often dorks
Must now change their name
I know it's a shame
But now they can be called the storks!

Also public educated, sorry

Are Haikus allowed?

I hope this was a reference whoever that idiot spouting off about haiku form on some earlier thread was...

Especially like how you used the "x" instead of "cks" and the 2... that's awesome.

Chestnut Hill University.

Since, technically speaking, BC is neither in Boston nor is a college.

But really most school named "college" in this country aren't colleges... Enough so that the meaning has changed.

Jesus H Christ, do we need to go over this again. Parts of BC ARE in Boston. Including Conte Forum, Alumni Stadium, and the almost all of the rest of lower campus.

YES PLEASE!
