McPhee (Vegas)
MacLellan (Washington)
Blake (Las Vegas)

Typo alert...Rob Blake is the GM for the Kings

That series is actually a GM battle between BGSU Alums.....although they never played together at BG as there was a 5 year separation between the two.

Dammit. Meant Kings. Too tired to think, and too many "Las.". Todd Reirden is an assistant coach with the Capitals. Nelson Emerson is in the front office of the Kings also.

So Nebraska Omaha, or just Omaha. ;)

Sean

Do we even have any UNO posters anymore? There were a couple, and then there was a big fight about where they stood in the college hockey hierarchy, and now I don't think any post here.
So as a Nebraskan, I guess this falls to me:
Jake Guentzel - Pens
Andrej Sustr - TBL
Nick Seeler - Wild (Hey, he sorta counts)

What a difference from 20 or 30 years ago, when a college player in the NHL was so rare. Who was the first alum from your school to win a Stanley cup?

For BU Scott Young, 1991 with Pittsburgh.

According to College Hockey, Inc.'s Stanley Cup Winners page 156 college players have had their names etched on the Stanley Cup 236 times. Wisconsin has both the most players with 13 and the most times with 19. The first two college players to win the Stanley Cup were George Owen, who played at Harvard, and Myles Lane, who played at Dartmouth, in 1929 with the Boston Bruins. Starting then a college player has had their name etched on the Stanley Cup in 51 of the past 89 years, including the past 12 years and 41 of the past 42 years. Glenn Anderson, who played at Denver, and Ken Dryden, who played at Cornell, each who the Cup 6 times, while 4 other players have won it four times. Last year 15 college players added their names to the Cup, the most in a single season. Second most is 13 college players which happened twice, in 2016 and in 1995.

Jay Beagle, UAA
Interesting, since the Washington Capitals have never won the Stanley Cup. Furthermore, College Hockey, Inc. lists Mike Peluso being the first and only UAA player to have his name etched on the Stanley Cup.

Since I don't think there are any fans of Gonzaga on these boards I'll post for the school: one of my favorites, Frank McCool with Toronto in 1945.
