i will admit that they have an outstanding golf course. yale golf club is one of the best courses in the state and one of the nicest i've played (and i get around).


...so they got that going for 'em ;)

Who's taunting? That's merely a truthful observation. I would say the same about any thread titled [school name] Skating Circles around [conference name] when said school failed to back up the boasting.

I'm not oblivious to the premature crowning of said team, just saying I've never felt the need to kick someone when they are down. You may not be guilty of it at all, I was just making an observation. I'm sure there are plenty of Yale fans that didn't jump the gun and fell like crap right now. The score alone does that without the piling on.

And RWD no one asked for a thread to be shut down and I'm sure you're aware by now that I've been rooting for UMD to win it all for a long time. I would love to see your squad win it all this year.

I do think that the "good" Yale fans understand the situation. I should know, I've been talked to by many a Yale fan. ;) My mockery is directed at the blowhards. And the "good" Yale fans know that. :)

Well done to Yale, RPI and Union for proving the point that umpteen threads and hundreds of posts couldn't, a great season against weak opponents leads to an overinflated ranking.

I wonder if the Yale fans learned their lesson or if there will be a repeat in next season if they happen to start off well?

Who would have thought a hard clean hit would end Yale's season. It was a good game until then.

Yes they automatically awarded the goals as result of the penalty. I hate when that happens.

Yale has won 21 NCAA titles in Men's Golf, so this thread isn't entirely inaccurate :)

It didn't end their season, giving up 5 goals while only scoring 3 ended their season.

Clearly over-rated! Post after post, all season long, the Yale fans boasted about their #1 ranking. What a joke. Yale is no more than a #10 team...and that is being generous.

I think Yale's got a better team than 10th or worse, they just weren't #1. I'd put them somewhere around 5th or 6th.
