Ylae*, skating circles around the golf course.

Re: Ylae*, skating circles around the golf course.

I'm not oblivious to the premature crowning of said team, just saying I've never felt the need to kick someone when they are down. You may not be guilty of it at all, I was just making an observation. I'm sure there are plenty of Yale fans that didn't jump the gun and fell like crap right now. The score alone does that without the piling on.

And RWD no one asked for a thread to be shut down and I'm sure you're aware by now that I've been rooting for UMD to win it all for a long time. I would love to see your squad win it all this year.

Well, I'm glad you're cheering for tUMD, but I just found some of your comments odd.

I guarantee that no one, or very few someones, would be saying anything right now if Y6le* fans hadn't behaved so incredibly ridiculously during the season (and also if they didn't have an ineligible player). If tUMD loses there will be plenty of people taunting DHG for his SCSU thread, I'm sure.

Re: Ylae*, skating circles around the golf course.

I wonder if the Yale fans learned their lesson or if there will be a repeat in next season if they happen to start off well?

Yes those 1 or 2 Yale fans who pi**ed everyone so royally have surely learned their lesson.

Re: Ylae*, skating circles around the golf course.

Post after post, all season long, the Yale fans boasted about their #1 ranking. What a joke. Yale is no more than a #10 team...and that is being generous.

What is your drug of choice, crystal meth or glue sniffing? Your claim that this happened post after post all season long is fiction started and perpetuated by idiots like you

I think Yale fans get taunted because they proved themselves to be spineless weenies this season.

Re: Ylae*, skating circles around the golf course.

Who would have thought a hard clean hit would end Yale's season. It was a good game until then.
That was a bad call, yes, but it is tough to say that it ended Yale's season. Yale had a ton of opportunities in the first period that they couldn't cash in on, and they also took a few very dumb penalties...such as going down 5x3 during the major from the bad call.

Yale had a great season, and there is no reason for anyone to **** all over it, in spite of a couple idiots who posted for Yale throughout the season. Unfortunately, every fan base has those "fans". I'm with Slap Shot: there's no reason to kick people when they're already down. Yale fans were genuinely excited about their team throughout the season, and rightly so. They were one of the most entertaining teams in the country to watch, and making it to the second round of the tournament two years in a row is nothing for people to thumb their noses at. Tournament losses are always tough, and we've all been there.

So Yale fans can dish, but they can't take it. Just sayin'...

Let's see what happens next year.
