The way they have been playing lately, I may have to ratchet it back to "just happy we made it" mode. They have not been playing well for the last six games and they need to sweep the last four to regain some momentum. Playing IFO 5,000 yellow freaks at QU Friday will be a tough way to start.

oh, im sorry that I said "throughout" and not "throughout much" - the grammar police can kill me. oh, and calling Yale the 5th best team in New England when they were like 13-1 was ignorant.

i was simply asking what makes him qualified to call me an idiot. i mean, if jerry york wants to call me an idiot, fine, but i don't think he's on this message board...

Well, Yale fans were full of themselves, starting such threads about how Yale is legit, how they were a team that the WCHA and HE had to deal with, most likely during tourney time.

The posters of "skating circles" and "best team in the country" are frauds and bring down the true fans.
Being No.1 is fun but unfortunately your fan base took the ranking to mean that the 2011-2012 NC trophy was being sent in the mail.

Get down off the cross, already. No one cares about Yale. Their fans can say whatever they want, but people have the right to ridicule them when their delusions of grandeur start to crumble.

Seriously, reading your posts it almost seems like you just started following sports. THIS IS HOW OPPOSING FANBASES COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER. NO ONE IS PERSECUTING YALE OR THEIR FANBASE.

I have probably been a sports fan longer than you've been alive. But what I have learned is that I put all of my energy into MY team, not in tearing down all the other teams that might defeat them. All of my posts here are focused on pointing out how silly you all are to be apoplectic about Yale fans being exuberant about their team. You'll have a chance to crow about your team(s) if they out-perform Yale in the NCAAs. Also, your statement that nobody cares about Yale is probably the most ludicrous thing that has been posted here. If nobody cares, why is everybody putting so much energy into downplaying Yale's accomplishments and attacking (oh sorry, correcting) their fans

Jeez, I looked all over my hotel room, but couldn't find a spork. You'd think that hotels in Wisconsin would stock each room with those **** things.

When are you going to be around to go out drinking? You need to ditch the ball and chain one night at go out with us. Did you hear that we got a ride back to Brents, from the nipple derby, from a pimp, in an Escalade a couple weeks ago? We know how to have a good time.

I did not hear about how you got home. All I heard was how much Shirtless Guy spent on fine young ladies :D

I will miss Thursday and Friday's afternoon game of the Final Five.

During the Frozen Four the only time I will have to do anything will be Saturday. But I might be too busy to do anything after the games. I would have school work to do all day the next day.

Interestingly, you chose to come into a thread where someone was insulting your team. Just like fans of wcha teams went into the thread where a yale fan said their team would skate circles around ours. Its called a taste of your own medicine.

Keep going though, you are slowly winning everyone over.

Did it suck last year when Yale beat UND in the NCAA's? Yeah, I'll admit that.
That said, that doesn't affect my opinion of Yale this season. They are still a great team with a good chance at going far into the NCAA's. I just think their lack of playing any tough opponents this season will affect them when they are forced to play multiple good teams in a row come tourney time.

And just a heads up on this one, but...
Most fans could care less how many weeks their team was #1 in a season. It matters nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Any BC, UMD, Miami, or BU fan would tell you the same. Yale fans on the other hand...
Trust me, I'm not losing any sleep because Yale has been #1 in the USCHO poll for 6 weeks while UND has zero.

And nevermind the non-UND fans ripping the braggart Yale fans. Besides, polls don't matter. Hey, if Yale actually somehow.....miraculously.....amazingly wins the National Title, I'll be at the front of the line congratulating them.

The point is, don't be arrogant and boastful when you have no reason to spout off against more storied programs.
