I am so jealous of Yale. They've made the NCAA tournament three years in a row. They are amazing.

When Obama got elected and became #1 he got a little excited, understandably. He went a little overboard and we had a choice...let it go, or take corrective measures. Same thing happened here. Corrective measures were taken, a lesson was taught and I got a feeling that IF ylae becomes #1 again the USCHO community will not be subjected to the retarded threads that were started this time. Or at the very least, I bet they give it some thought first.

Being a QU fan and frequent poster I see all participants in Bulldog fandome. Hell, I even broke the Sean Backman jumping into a pool story last year to the denial of many of the Yalies who called for my head after such a blasphemous remark, turns out I was spot on but needless to say I wasn't liked much for that, so take that into consideration with what I'm about to say. They have their fair share of idiots, like most teams do. These idiots decided to take their love of their team to an absurb level. Granted, much of the Yale love has come of the bandwagon variety. Think back a couple of years and the amount of posters on here then. However, I've found that there are good, honest Yale fans on here spreading the love for their team in a respectful and decent manner so grouping them all together does nobody any good. I've been around the Whale my whole life, went to school at the Q and quickly became enemies. But, Yale's crop of fans hasn't changed and I'm sure some of them are on here. The posters of "skating circles" and "best team in the country" are frauds and bring down the true fans.

As the guy who posed the question about Yale being the "best team in the country" way back in October (for the record, as most people have pointed out, I didn't proclaim them to be, I just provided some facts and opened the topic up for discussion), I would like to know what qualifies you to call me an idiot and insinuate that I am not a "good, honest" human being?

For the record, I am not a Yale fan, just an observer, if you will, who happened to watch Yale play a bunch of times and asked an obviously provocative question for the point of discussion. A few weeks after I started the thread, Yale was ranked number 1 as they have been throughout the season, at times by a very wide margin, in the polls. They have stayed in the top 5 all year and along with BC, North Dakota, Denver, Miami, and a few other excellent teams have a legitimate shot to win the whole thing.

Whether or not they care to admit it, alot of the backlash against the Yale statements is UND butthurt from last year in Worcester. If you were to tell me before the the season who had spent how many weeks ranked Number One in the nation by our favorite website, I would have signed on in a heartbeat, even for all of the attacks and aggravation.

Ylae* ended UND's season once, BC has ended our season as many times as they've spent weeks at No.1 this year! I am actually excited to go to a game in New Haven, I heard the rink has the best site lines in the tri-state area........because nothing is hanging from the rafters to block them.:eek: When your team accomplishes something worth talking about(besides your head coach scuttling Team USA's World Junior hopes of a gold medal) then you can come wave your flags on USCHO. Being No.1 is fun but unfortunately your fan base took the ranking to mean that the 2011-2012 NC trophy was being sent in the mail.

I'll tee this one up for you, Ingalls Rink does not have any rafters, it's all held up by cables and one big concrete arch. :D

I'm just glad we finally found a new Freddy Meyer for us to kick around. And he's on St, Clooud too!
