Yale Hockey 2010

Re: Yale Hockey 2010

Well, I guess you should know if you are a true Brown fan what a loser looks like!

Maybe we could chat next season. Which one of the three fans are you?

Let me guess, you are the one SLUt fan who DIDN'T get rejected by Clarkson, right?

Re: Yale Hockey 2010

Since this is the first chance I've gotten since Saturday....

Congrats to Yale, and it's too bad you couldn't get to Detroit. Keep up the trying to score goals style of play. :)

Re: Yale Hockey 2010

Yale mixed it up, but this was the line chart against SLU in Mid February a week before his injury:

LW 44 Jeff Anderson 0-0-0 1/+1 C 22 Brendan Mason 1-1-2 2/+2 RW 11 Charles Brockett 0-0-0 2/E
LW 19 Denny Kearney 0-1-1 2/+1 C 26 Mark Arcobello 1-0-1 4/E RW 14 Broc Little 1-2-3 5/+1
LW 59 Chad Ziegler 0-0-0 2/-1 C 10 Kevin Limbert 0-1-1 2/E RW 8 Josh Balch 0-0-0 4/-1
LW 9 Brian O'Neill 1-2-3 5/+2 C 17 Andrew Miller 0-0-0 2/+1 RW 16 Sean Backman 1-1-2 4/+3

Here's how the lines truly broke down.

1a: Miller
1b: Arcobello
3: Mason
4: Limbert/Laganiere/anyone else

Re: Yale Hockey 2010

Not a bad idea though because then we could get two auto-bids instead of one.:D

I can see the riots now if that happened this year: Union and Yale get auto bids, Cornell gets an at-large. Yikes, the mayhem.

Onion, you realize that it would be the Ivies kicking out the non-Ivies, right? Since they supposedly rule the universe and all the minions therein?

Re: Yale Hockey 2010

I'd imagine this pretty much describes the average employment situation among most SLUt graduates.

The ECAC should kick out all the non-Ivy's if you ask me.

You have a terrible imagination. No surprise there.

The Ivies are free to leave and form an Ivy League hockey conference any time they want. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

Re: Yale Hockey 2010

Yale was fun to follow all season and never quit. Now if they could just find that goalie (and stay out of the pool :D ).

Unfortunately, according to Heisenberg's blog, Yale is not slated to bring in a new goalie this coming season.

sounds like staying out of the pool was actually the problem - if backman hit the water instead of the deck he wouldn't have gotten hurt!

Re: Yale Hockey 2010

Looks like Backman is signing with the Dallas Stars. Good for him. Glad to see the incident didnt totally ruin his pro chances.
