Great all around game by the Bulldogs today. The defense has been excellent and the key to the game was the shutdown of Unions 2 minute long 5-3 powerplay. The O'Neil goal to start things off was a thing of beauty. Four assists for Miller, two goals for Cahill. Rondeau played very well in a game where he was really tested. Union looked good, but every shot and pass were contested by the Yale defense. Team speed was also a major factor in Yale's favor.

Just hope you know I was talking about tequila, I have visions of a black Cadillac with Arizona plates serving me slander papers! You are correct, LT! And R E L A X..... I was only kidding about the libel per se thing earlier. Haven't you gotten used to my eccentric sense of humor yet?
I somewhat disagree with you LT... Although RPI was a lot more physical than Yale which may poise a problem with other teams, Yale still dominated the game. RPI really had no threats other than their two goals (which were both scored from point shots). RPI did a fantastic job blocking shots which is why the shots were not more lopsided in my opinion. All in all I thought Yale carried the play throughout the game, especially in the first and third periods.
As much as it pains me to write this, congrats to the Eli for being ranked #1 in the country. Being a Harvard fan, it almost feels like Bizzaro Jerry from Seinfeld where Yale is #1 and Harvard is, well, at the bottom of the barrel. A world gone mad I guess. But nonetheless, you guys deserve to be ranked where you are and I truly hope you represent the ECAC in the Frozen Four finale. Then you'll know what we Harvard fans felt in '89. It's a great feeling.
Don't worry, they're still not the talk of the nation. Just ask the WCHA.
