Yale Bulldogs Hockey - 2012-2013

Re: Yale Bulldogs Hockey - 2012-2013

Could be Yale vs Quinn for the 4th time!

It could be. And what a boost that would be for the ECAC on a national scale. Huge.

The great thing about college hockey in March is that you sometimes get a chance to redeem yourself. Yale's horrible showing at the ECAC semis and consolation is wiped away by what happened this weekend. Like night and day. Even though I'm still in favor of the Ivy League breaking away from the ECAC, what transpired last weekend gives me hope that someday Harvard will make it back to the Frozen Four.

Facebook page says no fan bus, I would impersonate a UML student $150 for tix, bus, and hotel!

Anyone hear anything from the Yale ticket office?

I was thinking the same thing although I don't think I can sneak on the bus; even with my 1990 University of Lowell ID!

The deal UML is doing for their students pretty sums up the difference between a State School and an Ivy League School. Yale students can buy a $200 ticket for the games and Lowell students can pay $150 for transportation, accommodation, and the games.

Beat Harvard! Did I do that right?

Re: Yale Bulldogs Hockey - 2012-2013

Talked to Jeremy today, Section 109-110 for Yale box office bought seats in the lower corner. I will wave to you guys from the cheap seats.

Anyone know if Weberg is out for this series as well, something tells me he would not play if healthy due to the recent play of the current line up.

I may go for the 109s even though that means having to get both games in advance. With upper deck now for $54 on stub hub for Thursday (ok, $77 after fees are added), and sure to go lower, it's a close call...

Just talked to him today, says he won't play in Pittsburgh. Seems bummed but still excited to travel with the team.

Re: Yale Bulldogs Hockey - 2012-2013

Just noticed the the Q fans will be in the same end as Yale in the other corner. Maybe time to make a pact with the devil for some noise from both fanbases. Hopefully Lowell and SCSU defend down there twice!

Mojo update..

11:02am apr 5
information on yale hockey gatherings from mike balch, senior director of team mojo:

One last “mojo” weekend. The mojo has gotten us here, now it is time to bring home the big hardware (national championship trophy).

There will be a pre pre game gathering wednesday evening at the tonic bar and grill. This is the location where dave root watched the minnesota game (jesse with the ot winner). It is important to pay our respects to those mojo gods that reside at the tonic bar and grill. The roots have reserved the upstairs of the place at 6pm.
