Worst 'Homer' NCAA D-1 Women's Ice Hockey PPV Announcers?

I decided to watch Saint Lawrence at RIT D-1 women's ice hockey game tonight on FloHockey PPV.
And I would nominate the RIT announcers as the worst 'homers' that I have ever heard in women's hockey.
Ralph "Rocky" Perrotta. Scott Biggar. Jacob Campbell.
They nearly rival the North Dakota men's announcers, which are very strong words.
Your thoughts on others?

I don't know about the "homer-est" but I can say without a doubt that Kelly Schultz was probably the best announcer I've ever heard in women's hockey. She was the Bemidji announcer for years and her call of every game was educated, even-handed, and kind. I'm a Badger fan through and through, but I really enjoyed listening to her broadcasts. She should be calling women's hockey somewhere and I'm sorry to see that she's not.

I don't know who the guy is who does Vermont games, but I've always liked him. He's very even-handed, takes the time to learn about the opposing team, and knows the game. He's a pleasure to listen to.

Well your first mistake is watching Flo-anything lol

To go along with the others have positive thoughts, I love BC's guy Luis Sanchez. He's a BC guy but passionate & fair and shows emotion for both team's goals. Most importantly he REALLY puts in the work to know the other team's names and players. He does a great job and is usually on his own. I'm glad we have him.

Reid Magnum used to do the UW women's games, then Paul Braun came out of retirement and is doing them now, both are great play by play guys. The color person is the UW goalie coach (Greenie), who despite his allegiance does a nice job of just inserting a little blurb here and there not at all being homerish. Greenie's comments are interesting because he will give insight on what UW is trying to do via adjustments from what is said in the locker room.

The BTN+ people are terrible. I think some of the color commentators have not actually watched a hockey game before. It's horrendous. Even the play by play people say analytical things that make no sense.

Not sure if they haven't watched one, but it seems that they have never listened to one, so they don't know what good audio sounds like. They are often students. At one point, UM would use former players, and some of them were very good. Others wouldn't say much, but at least they understood the game. IMO, the first rule of being the color person should be to stop talking when the play gets interesting. Instead, the crowd is getting loud, and the color guy is droning on about one team holding a 21-20 edge in faceoffs. They should go watch some NHL highlights and figure out what works well and what doesn't.
