World Soccer XXXI: Golden Generation?

The Netherregions win the group and will play Morocco in Guadalupe.
Japan finish second and will play Brazil in Houston.
Sweden will advance and play either Germany, Switzerland or the France/Norway winner.
 
Australia need only a draw (or win) tonight to clinch second place and automatic advancement.
Paraguay need a win to finish above Australia.
Second place goes to Dallas to play second place in the mess that is Group G.
A Paraguay loss will all but eliminate them. A draw advance them to R32.
 
John Strong trying desperately to say this game is vital when the USMNT has clinched the Group and is starting the bench while Turkey has already been eliminated.

Seems fine to me.

2-1 Turkey.
 
Australia and Paraguay draw.

Paraguay have not officially advanced, but sitting on four points should be enough.

Well, I think we found out why most of those players who started weren’t playing. Aaronson and Weah were almost invisible and got muscled off the ball a lot. The back line was awful and I guess you hope Ream and Richards can play going forward. Turner, talk about a drop. Scally is one of those players that the Eurosnobs jump up and down that he needs to play and then he always stinks like he did.

It’s a bit scary because Bosnia is likely to play very similar to Turkiye. Hopefully the A lineup fairs better.
