World Soccer XXXI: Golden Generation?

That's not the flex you seem to think it is.
I'm not trying to flex. I just find it amusing that people parrot Gianni Infantino's gaslighting even as irrefutable evidence of how this World Cup isn't the "30 or 40 Super Bowls" it was promised piles up. The tickets are insanely expensive, with it costing people a few month's salary just to get into the stadium and sit in a nosebleed. If they could even get here to attend the game, which is its own nightmare. Not all of us live in Gianni Infantino's Fantasy Land where this is all fine and people aren't in the stands because it's hot or they're on the concourse or whatever FIFA's next excuse is.

It's weird that people call me out for using my eyes to judge FIFA but not the gaslighters who respond to my criticisms by repeating the obvious lies put out there by Infantino. It's like having Infantino piss on your head and you insist it's raining. I'm truly sorry you get misled so easily.

Yep…. Just look at all those seats dressed as people so far.

Even Gillette Stadium was 90%+ full for Scotland/Haiti last night.

Yea, this fully caters to the rich. But the market can bear it. So it will continue **shrug**

Referee crew for the Netherlands-Japan game is American and Mexican.

Referee is Ismail Elfath, ARs are Corey Parker and Kyle Atkins, the fourth and fifth officials are Katia Garcia and Sandra Ramirez.

VAR is American Armando Villareal.

My lying eyes.

Fuck the fans. Cater to the wealthy and squeeze every drop of blood from the rock. Good way to make the World Cup just another tournament instead of a global celebration.

Former players Darren Fletcher and Owen Hargreaves flabbergasted why they would need a hydration break indoors.

I'm sure their producer is screaming in their ears not to question it as they run three minutes of commercials.

Yet another innovation that will Make Football Great Again.

So the softest market (Mexico)…. That’s one of 8 matches so far…. Look at the others.

You would have a point if the Meadowlands was like that, but it’s not even close.

What are you talking about? It was a sellout. FIFA said so. Obviously those pictures are inaccurate.

There was just a shot of the upper deck in Dallas that showed huge swaths of empty seats, but I'm sure after shelling out $1500 for a seat people just decided to watch the game on TV in the concourse.

Nice to see a Japan fan wearing her face mask. Easy to forget there's still things you really don't want to inhale...
