Pricing the match in Philly or Joisey for travel and hotel for a night it'll be almost a grand. That's not counting event ticket or food(I suppose I could pack a coupla baloney sandwich's).

All for 45 minutes of seeing starters play at half effort and then 45 minutes of “that guy is still playing?” and “is that kid even out of grade school?”

This is the year I checked out of o jogo bonito. Not sure if it's cuz Portland sucks or Fulham imploded or what. TBH I have lost interest in pretty much everything but Cornell hockey and the Mets, and this is just one casualty.

Not a bad time for it. Timbers have one win from seven games, five points and only above the disasters that are the LA Galaxy (ha!) and Sporting KC.
 
Atlas of Mexico coming unglued in the CONCACAF Champions League against Philly. Atlas have given up two goals to Philly that were initially called offside but overturned by VAR, their captain got two yellows and a red in succession for dissent, the "p word" chants are out in full force (the warnings have been announced but the referee is not stopping the game) and their fans are throwing stuff at Philly players.

And it's 2-2 with Philly ahead 3-2 on aggregate.
 
Gold Cup draw happened.

US drawn into Group A with Jamaica, Nicaragua, and a qualifier.

Mexico gets drawn with Qatar in Group B.

Group C is CONCACAF to the max as Panama, Costa Rica and El Salvador are in that group.

Canada reaps the benefits of moving up into Pot 1 and gets Cuba and Guatemala.

I'm curious to see what we get here in Chicago out of this. I guessing Non-US group play and a Quarter-final.
