Looks like Apple is going after at least a portion of the MLS media rights. Did anyone here watch their MLB stream? I heard the picture quality was good but the announcers suck.

Not looking forward to adding another streaming service but at least the league is getting a sizable chunk of money.

The picture quality was amazing. Everything else was pathetic. It was "baseball for people who don't like baseball."

Boo. That doesn’t give me hope for a potentially enjoyable broadcast. Maybe Apple will hire the crew from CBS’ World Cup Qualifying.

Seattle advances to the CONCACAF Champions League Final against Pumas UNAM after drawing NYCFC 1-1 (4-2 on agg.).

Seattle will host the second leg.

Honestly, this has to be the best chance for an MLS team to win the CCL. Though I'm still weary.

Congratulations and good luck in the final, Jim.

People want to install Seattle as the favorite but I can’t see an MLS team as a favorite against a Liga MX team. Pumas has the ability to score a ton at home and end the series after the first leg.

It’s funny to see the reaction from other MLS fans, going from the ever present ACES to #MLS4SEA.

Seattle has always been my #2 MLS team. I see it as SLU vs Clarkson. The Wogs begin at New York State Route 3.

Yeah, I don't share that sentiment. I'm sure there'll be a circumstance where I'd root for Portland, but I haven't found it yet.

I'm, an Islanders fan who doesn't hate the Rangers, a Mets fan who doesn't hate the Yankees, and a Cornell fan who roots for every ECAC team in the NC$$s. There is clearly something wrong with me; I missed the "hate your arch rival" gene.

I was raised on a bitter rivalry in UAA-UAF so sports rivalries have always been a part of my life.

Ederson did almost the exact same thing last week against Liverpool. The difference was it was a little farther out and he was able to clear the ball off the line moments before it entered the goal.
Steffen has been pretty iffy the last few months, he's pretty rusty from rarely having any playing time.

It's not looking much better for the World Cup with Steffen and Horvath riding the pine in England and Turner likely riding the pine at Arsenal by the fall. They need to start looking at other options like Slonina from Chicago or (and yes I understand this is a homer pick) Frei from Seattle.

I'm sorry. This does not compute. : p

The only soccer team I truly hate is the Mexican National Team. There are a few others that are close. I grew up a Man City fan, so I really dislike Man United (although, not really a diehard Man City fan since they found a money machine). I really dislike Neymar, but not to the level of hate. For MLS, I follow the Rapids...but their biggest rival is Kroenke Sports. So... : )

So Billy Corben, not that one, the one who made Cocaine Cowboys, has a mini-doc out about David Beckham and Inter Miami’s stadium proposal and how it’s using public money to destroy important park land and it’s the “worst deal ever for Miami!”

Of course, the actual truth is no public money is being used and Inter Miami is paying $3.7 million a year in rent (on land appraised at $2.2 million). The “park land” that needs to be saved? It’s a golf course run by a private entity.
