Finishes 1-1. Not a great result but not a terrible result. This was always going to be a tough match, on the road and after the Mexico game.

Also, the player that scored for Jamaica plays for West Ham and has more goals in the PL for West Ham than any other player in their history.

Starts at 9pm ET.

Panama - El Salvador is starting right now and is honestly more important than Canada - Mexico (go El Salvador).

Canada only has 2 home games out of their last 6, while Jamaica has 4 of 6 at home (and 5 of 7 counting tonight). To the extent home field plays a huge role in qualifying, those 2 could see the biggest swings in fortune. So a win tonight would be huge for Canada.

Panama losing would create some distance between the top 3 and the rest.

Yeah, Canada still has games in Central America where their historical record is pretty bad plus a home game against the US.

Panama scores two in the second half and leads 2-1. Mexico and Canada both looking miserable and 0-0.

If results hold it'll be USA 15, MEX 15, CAN 14, PAN 14.

Based on the remaining schedules, I'd probably pick Canada to finish 4th out of that pack. But yeah, it's gonna be a dogfight to avoid 4th place and the intercontinental playoff.

Yeah, being in the playoff is basically praying for a draw against New Zealand (or whoever comes out of OFC) since the other choices are gonna be either Australia or Japan out of Asia and whoever comes out of CONMEBOL.

So Canada is going to lead our Group because they dropped the Russian Winter on Mexican Napoleon?
Pretty much.

They still have their four games in Central America plus a home game against the US that, frankly, I don't think they'll win.
