The NBC family does a really good job with soccer and I hope they continue to drive out the ESPN / Fox Sports / CBS hurr hurr networks.

ESPN does a good job with soccer and as long as Alexi Lalas isn’t working Fox is ok.

ESPN has not done a good job with anything since about 1993.

Even recall watching some EPL on USA network which is part of nbc universal

The last day of the EPL season, for the past few years, NBC has found a way to televise every one (all 10) of the games at the same time, though a few wind up in some obscure places.

Bradley and Altidore finally decided to show up.

Disappointing result but I can’t be too unhappy.

Stanford wins in 2OT and the GWG scorer pulls a Brandy Chastain. Literally - complete with sports bra.

Men's championship

Men's championship

And they won the women's championship last week.

Stu Holden’s Kick In For Houston charity game is today at 6:30 ET on FS1. If anything, Alexi Lalas is playing so there’s the possibility someone takes a run at him.

edit: And apparently Roger Clemens. Now I’m watching just for that!

Didn't expect them to be named first. Thought it would be Cincy, or at least Sacramento.

Cincy has been amazing but part of me wonders what happens when it isn’t new and cool and there is no cup run? Like what have they really proven? I know Nashville hasn’t proven anything either but they have the SS stadium deal. I think it’s Sacramento. I’m wondering if they’re holding off to see what happens with Columbus/Austin?
