With the World Cup going to Fox we'll be trading Ian Darke and Jon Champion for John Strong. Boo.

Ian Darke went from fourth string Sky Sports announcer to ESPN lead all because the US and England got drawn in the same group in 2010 and Martin Tyler wanted the England games.

Great game plan by the coaches, and terrific execution by the three forwards. that was a really fun first half to watch. :)

What was wrong with Bradley last night? He seemed two steps slow all night, lazy passes intercepted repeatedly, lost the ball when trying to dribble....

It was a bit strange to me how the announcers, who obviously noticed, kept saying "Bradley is exposed out there" or "Bradley needs more support." Um, maybe Bradley needs to be five years younger? Bradley needs to be a late-game sub like Dempsey because his motor runs out of gas too soon?

Iceland has qualified for the World Cup.

Re: World Soccer XXVIII: Campeones de NorteAmérica.

Iceland has qualified for the World Cup.

UEFA qualifying almost all but settled today.

In Russia:
Germany
Serbia
Poland
England
Spain
Belgium
Iceland!

At least playoff:
France
Sweden
Switzerland
Portugal

There are still a couple groups left to play, so the playoff round has yet to be set, though it looks like Greece is the only team in real danger.

Only traditional giant that is out at this point is the Netherlands, unless they beat Sweden by 13 tomorrow.

This is karma for the Snow Classico

Hey, now. We stole that fair and square.

A friend of mine maintains that Snow Classico was in turn national karma for enduring the Tuck Schmucks.

It's possible one of the UEFA playoffs could be Ireland vs Northern Ireland...
