Germany is owning the ball so far 28 minutes in, but no real danger yet for Italy. Fun to watch so far.

Germany is in some trouble with injuries and suspension. France not so much. Have to believe france will be the betting favorite rest of the way.

Never thought I'd say it but after watching France.... I'm rooting for Germany.

France vs Germany on French soil...this sounds familiar....

France better not use their usual tactics vs Germany: Wait around until halftime for the USA to bail them out.

Not too much to speak of in Lyon. Maybe a missed chance for a Portugal penalty and some exciting crosses for Portugal, but I'd say Wales have been attacking better overall.

That only worked because they were also playing a split squad against the Russians.
