What's worse, a Canadian or Costa Rican team winning this before an American team? Or would it just be nice for any non-mexican team to win?
I think even most Mexicans would rather have a Canadian or Costa Rican team win it before Club America does. But I'd rather see Montreal win it, because even if they do they still won't make the playoffs...

I've no ill will towards Canadians or Ticos, so as long as it's non-Mexican that's fine by me.

I'm pulling for Herediano for personal reasons.

Club América advance to face Montréal Impact in CONCACAF Champions League final after 6-0 second leg win over Herediano at Estadio Azteca.

One of these days, maybe Mexico will be good enough to only lose uno a cero...

How does it work where the fa cup semis are played same weekend as premier league games when you don't know who will be in semis when schedule is made?

They bump the premier league games involving those teams to an open date later in the year, I believe.

This weekend they'll be commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Bradford City disaster, where 56 people were killed when a stand at the football ground was engulfed in flames at a moment's notice. Apparently at that time, the cleaners just swept the rubbish through the cracks and it accumulated underneath the wooden stand. A new book just came out, calling in question the original investigation into the fire, so there are calls for a new investigation. Hard to believe something like that happened not that long ago!

Montreal pulls one out at Azteca with a 1-1 draw against Club America in leg 1 of the CCL Final.

The same Montreal that has yet to win a game in MLS...

They haven't used it in a while, but I suppose Germany does have those green jerseys.

In either case, Germany's white uniform is a terrible example to try to justify the new uniforms. Thankfully, they haven't done this to the men's team yet .

I'm ok with an all white look, it's the ancillary colors that make no sense.

Netherlands flag is red, white and blue but they are identified by orange. Americans don't identify with another color, it's all about the ole red, white and blue.

Club America beats Montreal 4-2, 5-3 on aggregate for the CONCACAF Champions League title.

Once again, close but no cigar for an MLS team. Can't wait to see how the Sounders fail out in the next one.
