LOLEngland.
LOLEngland.
I think that is the most heartbreaking loss I have ever seen in any sport. I didn't care who won and it still makes you feel for England. They are the Ziggy of the International Soccer. Absolutely devastating.
Wow....England is just CURSED
10 says they to Germany on penalties in the third place game...

Nobody's taking that bet.
It's definitely in the running. England really had much better of the play in the 2nd half - they created several great chances, while Japan was doing pretty much nothing on offense. Soccer can be a terrible and unjust game.I think that is the most heartbreaking loss I have ever seen in any sport. I didn't care who won and it still makes you feel for England. With that own goal, by the way, Laura Bassett now has as many World Cup goals as Wayne Rooney.
Because Twitter is the worst thing on earth:
Cold.
But I hope people understand all of the coulda, woulda, shoulda events in the game that meant the mistake was that big. England had some great chances to take the lead, so the burden should be on the forwards as much as the one defender.
Sadly we look for one scapegoat.
Wimps.Nobody's taking that bet.
Mexico gets their first excuse why they'll lose to the US again. Chicharito breaks his collarbone.
