The usual subs, and I think there were two brief stoppages for injuries (Morgan and O'Hara) but no way did it all add up to 5 minutes.

I think that’ll seal up number 4. I don’t think England’s midfield is good enough to beat the US and there’s nobody really strong enough on the other side of the bracket.

I was amazed at how well both teams were able to take it away. That was some of the best defensive soccer I've ever seen.

Both teams did a good job taking the ball, but the US was far better at giving it away.

Down the stretch France made half a dozen unforced errors along the sideline to throw away rushes, a few of them in our D zone.

How the US didn't give up more goals was surprising to me, especially in the 2nd half. Yes, I watched the game, even though I'm not all into soccer. Why? World Cup and it's the US.
As far as Rapinoe....she is on a TEAR. However, and correct me if I'm wrong, she has really taken a physical beating the last two games....hope that doesn't affect her the rest of the way.

In the round of 16, we played the military power of 1550-1650, Spain. Then in the QFs, we played the power of 1650-1750, France. Next we will play the power of 1750-1850, England. So assuming we win there, I predict we play the power of 1850-1950, Germany.
