But the point is just using immigrants we should probably have a decent team. Which is why I recommend we do.

Post-Dump they'll even have their own favelas in TX and CA. That's how we should be making our soccer players: grinding, inhuman poverty. That's how Brazil does it.

Air drop a ham shank onto the playground: winning team's families eat for a week. Beats the f-ck out of Bret Kavanaugh's friends snorting lines at prep school before playing in the Upper Class Twit Cup on the Philly mainline, winner gets a night with Muffy and a scholarship to Dartmouth (sorry, Princeton had admission standards).

Scotland vs Argentina is the match of the tournament. Scotland was up 3-0, Argentina comes back to make it 3-2. Then in the 88th there was a tackle in the box that was later reviewed and awarded a penalty. PK is finally taken in the 91st, stopped, then another VAR for the keeper being off the line. Second shot goes in, now it’s 3-3 in the 94th, except 4 minutes of stoppage time were added.

Just a minute later the official blows her whistle to end the game even though there had only been about two minutes of actual play in the previous ten minutes. Everyone is so confused that even Argentina is yelling at her wondering what’s going on.

I've never understood the failure to handle stoppage time with **** happens around/after the announcement of how much is left.

Earlier this year MNUFC had a game where they were down by 1, announced stoppage time is minimum of 3 minutes, after the announcement the other team gets called for 2 yellows for delay of game. yet ultimately the ref blows his whistle at 3:30 minutes of stoppage time...***

Watching Canada v Mexico I feel like this is one of those matchups that will go into halftime 0-0 but end up like 3, 4, 5-0 Mexico.

Yeah, should’ve been at least 4 more. FIFA has been really public about time added for VAR. She didn’t do that and potentially eliminated a team. She’s done.

So what's a tougher knockout round matchup - Spain or the loser of NED/CAN? Spain looks pretty decent based on their results.

Either road is difficult. Win or tie and it's likely Spain then France, lose and it's Canada then Germany. It's a coin flip.

Nigeria will be the final 3rd place team if Chile doesn't win by 3+ goals or Thailand doesn't win by 15+ goals (:p)
