I don't know....while I'm not a big WNBA fan, I am aware that the Connecticut Sun plays their home games at Mohegan Sun.

Sunday's Gold Cup quarterfinal in Baltimore may well see more Salvadoran fans in the stands than US fans.

FWIW, I wouldn't go pay $100+ to see what is essentially the US 'B' Team against El Salvador, and I would consider myself a pretty loyal US Soccer Fan. Plus, the match means a whole lot more for El Salvador than it does for the US.

It's a good experience for the 'B' Team to play against a more hostile crowd than a typical home game.

Against Latin teams that's true more often than not. Pretty much the only way the US can get a home field advantage is to schedule games in cold weather and hope for a blizzard.

A blizzard sounds great right now. Over 100 outside. Again.

And pray that the Latin America team doesn't throw a fit, like recently.

Benteke does a reverse and signs for 4 more years at Villa. That is a huge development for them. Lambert is better than the last 3 managers combined.

Betting lines in UK now list Villa 2/1 to finish in top 10.

After a few years of optimism for the sake of optimism, in spite of many facts worrying fans about new managers and players not fitting the formation, this could be a very good year for Villa. They had a very good record for the last leg of 2012/13, have jettisoned several overpriced bench warmers and have signed 7 guys under the age of 25 this summer.

And we don't have to put son's Benteke jersey in the goodwill pile.

The made-for-TV event known as Copa EuroAmericana is set to start today through August 4 on channel 479 on DirecTV. Among the European clubs are Porto, Sevilla and Athletico Madrid.

williams stood tall for t&t all night... given his solid performance you'd hope the game winner was more authoritative, rather than the glancing touch that found the far-side netting....

deserved win for mexico, they had the better of it tonight, though t&t had a handful of quality chances (orozco had one fantastic save in the first half)....

Did anyone watch Panama vs Cuba? That goal by Cuba was beautiful and then it all fell apart for them...
