shouldn't the US had a corner couple minutes earlier when donovan shot one off the t&t guys leg that went wide?? instead t&t got the ball.

This Saudi Arabia-Bahrain match was sounding exciting until I see that it's being called by Max Bretos.

Yeah they should have. Brutal call and the ref was so arrogant to not ask the linesman.

CONCAAF is downright terrible as a conference for reffing. It would make more sense to just fly in South American refs to do our games.

He's basically making up fouls from everywhere but Eagle Eye ref could see from 100 feet away that Spector wasn't fouled. :rolleyes:

I don't think he wasn't aware of that. I think the problem is that even after all the other second place teams have their points taken away from the 6th place teams, Norway's 10 points aren't going to do them a lot of favors. Right now, every other team in second place except for Ireland and Sweden is ranked ahead of Norway. And both Sweden and Ireland can pass Norway. Norway only stays ahead of Sweden if the Swedes gain one point or less in their remaining two games (in which case its likely that either Porugal or Hungary pass them in the standings- with more points) and Ireland would have to lose both of their remaining matches (at home against Italy and Montenegro) whilst the Bulgarians don't win both of theirs (against Cyprus and Georgia). I'm not holding my breath.

To play devil's advocate (or to be fair, depending on how you view it): Bob Bradley isn't the one on the field.

I would guess Altidore would be subbed whether he is hurt or not. It seems like he has the perception that he can't play more than 50-60 minutes.

20 years ago, a 1-0 win at Trinidad in a key qualifier was considered a brilliant benchmark moment in the team's history. Now, it's a dreadful effort. I guess that's growth.
