Cheering for Finland and Slovakia tonight. I'd like to see us get the Swiss and let Canada deal with the Swedes or Russians on the other side of the bracket.

Another good game from us. We came pretty close to even killing off the 5 on 3, and we responded when we gave up the goal anyway.

If the Russkies finish 3rd, we'll probably get them in the semis. Canada is on the Swede side of the bracket.

I know, that's why I'm cheering for Slovakia. Because then the Russkies finish 4th and play Sweden. I'd be thrilled with our bracket being the Swiss, and then the winner of Denmark-Slovakia.

The hit did have some CTH, the 5 and game was warranted.

A part of me wants Canada to play a very peculiarly good Denmark team; they may actually pull out a surprise.

It'd be VERY interesting if Sweden has to play Russia; NEVER bet against the Rooskies in the medal round; they are always VERY strong.

I've seen the replay about a dozen times now. I still don't see the CTH, although I'm fine saying that per the IIHF interference rules, that is a five minute major and a game.

USA vs. Switzerland at 5:30 in Toronto
Canada vs. Czech Rep. at 8:00 in Montréal

The winner of SWE-SVK will play the winner of CAN-CZE, and the winners of USA-SUI and RUS-DEN will play each other.

Hit by Kunin was a hockey hit...period but by IIHF rules they see it different along with Team Canada...not surprised "IF" Kunin gets at least 1 game suspension and wouldn't be surprised either if they give him the boot for the rest of the WJC's. But my view and that's after watching it over and over was a hockey hit and nothing about what he did was to hurt Meyers...except to ring his bell and let him know that they pack enough in a small body as well as a big body.
