If Spain wins, they will be the first team to play in the final after losing their opening match. I'm picking Germany, they've shreaded every team when Klose played the whole match. I think it will be closer than Argentina or England but still a W for Germany.

Here on Hungarian T.V. they just showed a highlight reel of the referee Viktor Kassai's best moments from the tournament, complete with musical accompaniment.

This country really needs some actual sporting success.

Uhm, I don't think tripping over yourself is a dive, nor does it deserve a booking...you didn't see his legs cross up on himself after he made contact with the defender...

In other news, through the first half Mertesacker is ahead of Ramos 5-4. I listened to those that commented and went with Ramos...mainly because he was my only Spaniard.

Spain has really controlled the 2nd half. Their advantage in midfield is showing.

If Spain plays for penalties they will lose. No one beats the Germans on penalties.

Watching the replay Ozil does trip over the ball but then his pirouette through the air made it seem like he embellished.

Edit: He's almost putting his hands in the air to ask for it as he's going down. Hehe.

Just my opinion.

Spain definitely not playing for penalties. Germany is the team hanging on for dear life right now.

Del Bosque is going for it. If Torres gets on the break, it's over. And it almost was if Pedro got it to El Nino.
