I have video editing software installed on my PC, and editing out the commercials would be no problem at all. But a main issue is going to be the file size, both 'before' and 'after. I can try to figure out why, but the times I've edited a file and then saved it, the resulting file ends up being MUCH larger than the original... and I assume your original isn't small to begin with. I have a free "Drop Box" account where you could drop the file, and where I could store the edited file for people to download from (again, depending on file sizes and the limits on the free DropBox account). I also assume there was at least some point of copyright control of the original documentary, so that might be an issue with posting it 'publicly' on YouTube, etc.Over the winter I spent some time cleaning out old vhs tapes. I found a documentary on the womens team that I recorded. After the 2006 win, they were followed through the summer and also the next season in their quest to repeat. I had it converted to DVD. Not sure if this could be uploaded to YouTube. I wouldn't have the 1st clue how to do that if it could be. It has commercials on it that would probably have to be removed. If any of you Tech people could do that and I could get it to you, that would be great so others could enjoy it.
Hey, I really appreciate the thoughts. We have 12 trees down in our yard, I have siding damaged on three sections of the house and I'm not sure how about the shingles. Those don't look obviously damaged to me, but I'm not an expert. There were two rounds of hail, the second round being larger than the first. We were in the basement of course. I barely got in the house from dropping my dad off from his cancer doctor trip, got in the basement, and the lights were out. I was driving 70 on 55 roads trying to beat it home. Our power was out from 6:00 yesterday till about an hour ago. I do have a generator, so I was able to keep all the important things powered. The scariest thing honestly is the west and east elevations of our house are plastered with debris like somebody shot it on there with a cannon. The trees on the west side are blown toward the east and the trees on the east side are blowing toward the West. I guess that tells me that there was definitely circulation going. If that funnel cloud would be have dropped any lower, we would have lost everything. Thankfully, no trees fell on our travel trailer which is hooked up to our F-150 parked right next to more trees. Very thankful to the Lord for sparing us. One family from our church did lose their house. The insurance adjuster is coming out Monday or Tuesday. I'm pretty sure they'll probably try to convince me not to reside the whole house, but it will have to be that way. The old siding 17 years old, it'll be impossible to match.Hey Timothy, hope everything is OK after the tornado.
There is a lot to unpack here. They have a C on the roster. Cool beans. I never had any doubts, it's just fun to try and read the tea leaves. I'm guessing Enright, Halverson or Pieckenhagen - yeah out on a limb I know.At an event last night, I confirmed with Jackie that we have an incoming center. She didn't designate which player, but she and Dan assured me that they had it covered. In his remarks, Coach Johnson said that any money raised for women's hockey will go toward the players' education. (With 20 scholarships and 26 on the roster, there's a gap to fill.) He said that he doesn't intend to pay players to play but he does hope to pay for their educations. He said he thinks this will be a successful strategy at least for the next 3-4 years. His predictions didn't go beyond that time frame. I also learned that Marianne Picard came back to work on her Master's in biomedical engineering. (She has decided to become a biomedical engineer instead of going to medical school.)
I really do appreciate it. My Dad's dealing with bladder and kidney cancer, this is a heck of a curveball on top of that, but not nearly as much as his curveball. His prognosis is seemingly hopeful all things considered for an 84 year old guy.So glad you are okay, Timothy A, but genuinely sorry about the damage to your property. I hope the insurance company is prompt and generous.
