Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2024-2025

I received a reply from the ticket office 10 days that said the website should be updated "in the next few weeks." I am also awaiting a response to the ticket information form I submitted at https://app.bucky.uwbadgers.com/Womens-Hockey-Interest.

Two years ago, the notice went out on 7/20. Last year, it was on 7/17. We should be getting close.

Not quite.

According to my "order history", I submitted the order for my ticket last year on July 5th, the first day orders were accepted. The order was processed and credit card was charged on the 17th. Likewise, in 2022 my credit card was charged on the 19th; the order would have been submitted before that.

Apparently, I have a lesser status. Nonetheless, it looks like we are waiting, presumably because the ticket office has other priorities like filling a huge football stadium and a large and expanding men's hockey arena. Being able to charge more for an inferior product is a luxury.

I believe the start date for offering scholarships/aid for the 26-27 season is August 1. Has anyone heard anything about how things are going related to Bucky’s preferred recruits?
Merci.

Something that was very interesting, at least to me, was to see Kirsten Simms skating for Tradition White in Da Beauty League, which is a 4 on 4 league run in the Twin Cities. Lots of former and current college hockey players that are mostly Minnesota based on the women's side. There is, of course, a men's side to it as well but if you care to kill some time to watch I will include the Youtube link. The women's game starts at about the 2 hour 44 minute mark.

From what I saw the players aren't too interested in playing a WI style of hockey.

That was mentioned during the stream as the level of compete was down from previous games between the women's teams. Likely do to a injury that happened to Natalie Buchbinder. The broadcasters mentioned that the players were told to take it a little more easy on each other as this is an exhibition league and is really just for fun.

Season tix are available. $120 a ticket and $75 to park. I'm going back to 3 since there were times last year where I wanted a 3rd one and they were sold out.

I could only re-up for 2 and had to put a request in for a 3rd lol. Of course my request goes to the back of the line since all the big donor people need their tix ahead of me, a mega loyal and devoted fan. I'm sure some of them are, but not all of them. New season ticket requests should be sorted out by who had their existing tickets scanned the most get's top priority.
