Do they still hold that marijuana smoking day in Madison? Or is that just every day? If so, when do they do it?

I was at one of the first such get togethers during the seventies where some of the elected state legislators actually threw bags of pot to the crowd.......yes, I inhaled......again and again.................................

They just had the 39th annual Marijuana Harvest Fest I think in very early October. Pretty much a non-issue here now. The old hippies are in their 60's and pretty much mellowed out, for some reason. It's more about legalization of medical pot.

yeah me and some buddy's ran into it at library mall when we were grabbing some food on state street, they were having there little rally of 50 to 75 people, that want the legalize pot, it was pretty pathetic, my buddy ran up and grabbed the mike from the guy who was talking and acted like he was all for the cause, then asked for a show of hands of how many people here didn't smoke weed, know one raised there hands, so he said into the mike, "the day someone shows up at one of these that doesn't smoke weed and still wants it legalized then you might have something you hippie wanna bee's, then left" It was pretty hilarious, i must say.. haha

I went to Harvest Fest in the late 80's and there were thousands. Interesting participation decline.

I don't smoke and I believe that it should be legal, but alas, I didn't go to the rally. Too bad, maybe we would've had something there.

I know a LOT of people who puff or used to puff and none of them are or were hippies. Glad it was hilarious though. Your buddy's a riot. I hope you high five'd each other or chest bumped or something.

When you have that many students you are bound to have lots of hot chics.... I don't know whati t is like now, but back in the 90's per capita SCSU had as many hot chics as any where in the State....
