Wisconsin @ SCSU

Re: Wisconsin @ SCSU

Have you never been in an SCSU thread before? For that matter, any WCHA thread?

Yeah but this one seemed to more than normal. I was looking for a decent bridge into actually talking about hockey for some reason... ;)

On the plus side our goons are capable of exiting a bathroom without assistance.

Yeah, but also are capable of turning an elevator into a bathroom.

You wanna talk hockey? I'd suggest... gee... maybe like a Clarkson-Vermont series thread? I dunno. Any suggestions? Certainly not a WCHA series.

Re: Wisconsin @ SCSU

This coming from one of the most liberal states in the union and one that has voted democrat in the presidential elections since I can remember.

Re: Wisconsin @ SCSU

So I should have shed my copies of Das Kapital and the Communist Manifesto when I left Madison? And the same goes for my CHE Lives! T shirt?

Nah, they're ok to keep as a reminder of how young and ignorant you were. :p

Aktick

I suppose that in light of the recent US melt down and subsequent bailouts of the economy, the same might be said of those who studied, and embraced Laissez-Faire capitalism

Haha, touche. But I'm in the camp that believes it was the government who was more to blame for said meltdown anyways. ;)

But back to the original point...Madison by and large is definitely a bit more "out there" than the rest of the state, so I simply ask that our friends in Minnesota not lump the entire state in with those stinkin' Commies. :D

Fear not, Comrade. Soon the workers will control the means of production.

But can they compete with the Chinese, who are mopping the floor with us as we speak.? Onward the Proletariat!:D

Anyway, anyone thinking of going to St Cloud this weekend? I think both nights will be great hockey and it is but a bit over an hour's drive for me. I suspect St Cloud will be quite a challenge for Bucky so I will hope for 3 points...and accept 2 if I have to.
