The forum used to auto close threads at or shortly after 1,000 posts, though that doesn't seem to happen as quickly or possibly at all anymore.

Was told there is still a chance local TV picks up the UND games and/or other games. We'll see.

It's a crying shame PBS carries hardly any games anymore on tape delay. At least you could watch the game, even if you knew the results, just because you love watching UW hockey. I never dreamed that as media avenues increased that their telecasts would decrease. It's F'ed up.

It's reflective of the interest shown in the program by the public and athletic department, sadly.

Interesting.

Due to thug handball last night, the Wild game was shown in the Fox North HD channel. I don't have HD so I watched the game on the Fox Sports Wisconsin feed, replete with Milwaukee advertisers.

They'll show Wild hockey but not Badger hockey?

That's messed up.

They show Wild hockey because we are in the Wild's zone for some stupid reason.

When the Wild play the Hawks, the Chicago telecast is blacked out here (on Center Ice) and I have to suffer the indignity of Laplanta (sp?) and Gorg.
