Im not sure what's worse. ..

Tying a DIII team
or
The yellow chicken **** Wisconsin Administration who wouldn't let people witness it?

No, I guess I am sure.

Trolling about another team you don't from day to day give a crap about because of some stupid exhibition that wasn't open up to the public...I don't think pathetic is a strong enough word.

This guy makes minnesota fans look cool. (it hurt to type that, a little piece of me died to admit that truth)

It's like when people try to poke at us for something Barry did.

Yeah, um, none of us like him either. What's your point?

Now now now, in all fairness, that same administration televised the Penn State-Wisconsin tilt last year.

And, really, PSU is nothing more than a glorified DIII hockey program.

We're not cool?

Really?

Re: Wisconsin Hockey XXIX: Yes, this is the Rumpel Rink!

Badgers did not lose, Gophers did. I am satisfied with the Friday results.

Good point. The Gopher women also lost their shootout...but so did the Badgers. The Madison Capitols also won (they have a perfect record while I'm in attendance), so overall, Friday's results were satisfactory.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey XXIX: Yes, this is the Rumpel Rink!

...and that wraps up another weekend without a loss.

I don't know what you guys think, but clearly this team is on a roll!

Bring in the SUE! I sure want revenge for way last season ended, but me thinks this may not be the year for revenge to be taken. Come on lads, shock the world. Now if I could only see the games....

I find it offensive that the link to UND's sports homepage still has "fighting souix" in it. I thought the NCAA was all over stuff like this. What's next NCAA, student atheletes getting away with selling autographs?

Re: Wisconsin Hockey XXIX: Yes, this is the Rumpel Rink!

Any idea how the attendance will be this weekend? This is without question one of the top 2 rivalries we have and I hear NOTHING on the "streets". I always look forward to see The Fighting Sioux (yeah, I said it) in Madison.

Judging by remaining tickets available- Friday 100-200's probably 80% or more sold, maybe 10-20% sold upstairs. Saturday looks like it will be a big crowd with pretty limited availability in the bowl and quite a bit of the 300's sold too.

That's good news. With the early game @ Purdue, I would expect a sell out on Saturday. Friday's are always up in the air. Hopefully a pair of full house's will light the fire under the boys.

Yup. I've been hoping (and telling the athletic department) that they have a huge opportunity this week to celebrate the history of this rivalry...and remind everyone that this is a rematch from last year's NCAA tournament. I'm not surprised that I haven't seen anything to that effect.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey XXIX: Yes, this is the Rumpel Rink!

Good news on the TV front, appears five games will be picked up by WPT. Hasn't been announced by Wisconsin yet, but it's showing up on the BTN2Go schedule.

So Comcast TC will be able to see these games on BTN2Go? If Comcast has WPT in WI, I'm guessing it's more likely as you log into your Comcast account on BTN2Go. I'd like to watch Jack Eichel do dirty things to your team.

Oh and the Gophers don't play on Saturday! Two old school WCHA matchups to watch that night.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey XXIX: Yes, this is the Rumpel Rink!

I've been looking at the ticket site too. For Friday's game, it'll be decent for a Friday game (particularly in the fall) in the past couple of years. Plenty of good seats still available, and as of now, the upper deck is very sparse. (The 200 level on the north end is still largely unclaimed.) For Saturday, things are looking pretty good.

Regardless of what the other fans do, I'm excited.

All locally televised games in the Big Ten are available to be streamed for free on BTN2GO.COM if you have a cable or satellite service that receives the Big Ten Network.

So, yes, you should be able to watch on BTN2Go.

Thanks, Chuck. I haven't donated to WPT for many years; I might have to throw a few bucks their way for televising the road games.
