Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVIII: This could be a banner year, but how would we know?
Kerdiles....someone in the recruiting thread said the Ducks are loaded at forward, so I'm hoping that keeps him in Madison one more year. Plus I'm sure he could use a little more strength conditioning, eh?

. I smell a Hobey, Nick. Stick around and make yourself a Legend.
Soleway is becoming a family favorite. He crushed rodents all weekend, and that's not an exaggeration. One shift Thursday, he hit a rodent at the near boards, hit one in front of the net, and hit one on the far boards, bing bam boom. The great thing is he's got scoring talent and we'll se him on the top 2 lines the next 3 years. On a slight tangent, it's interesting that when some players have a chance to him someone hard, they choose not to.
Rumpel is in the ZONE. I hope Eaves doesn't mess around next year with the tandem thing and just run him from the start. Once he gets out of that, he just takes off in his performance.
I was not disappointed in Thursday's crowd because that's what I expected for a Thursday game. It's confusing that the AD would botch attendance/accounts receivable with a Thursday game. They would have drawn 12,000 easy if it was a normal Friday.
Gurt's post reminded me to comment on the atmosphere from the Saturday OSU game, the one and only men's game for me to attend this year.....I liked the historical accomplishments in the ring. I prefer the old intro to the new one. Sandman really gets my blood pumping. I like the dimmed lights/smoke/light logos all over the ice. They did a poor job getting the pompoms handed out. We came in gate C and no one said anything to us to get some or just handed some to us. Even though "We hate pompoms!" they added a neat feel to the rink, I'd like to see those more frequently. And kudos for allowing the giant Sieve banner.
