It was much more fun that we did in front of the Gopher fans than you mouth breathers, but that both of you were there and paid to watch us win is kinda fun. :)


Fun fact: The Minnesota based teams were a combined 0-4 in the Final Five.

Okay, let's say all three Minnesota teams along with the Canadian based team went a combined 0-4. ;)

The Ducks are a pretty deep team, I would be surprised if they rushed Kerdiles through. I would think Etem is going to get a chance as a top 6 F next year when Bobby Ryan leaves. If Kerdiles thought going into UW he would be a one and done, he would be in the WHL right now after the NCAA 10 game ban.

1.) Turris should not have left after one season, physically he was just not ready for the demands of the NHL.

2.) I think the expectation is currently that Kerdiles will likely leave after next season.

Teams with chearleaders were also 0-4.

Of course we turned out to watch.

Did you really think that Minnesotans would treat watching Badger hockey like Wisconsinites?

To move on to the next level he really needs to learn to skate under control. He looks like an unguided missle out there. On the empty netter attempt he almost scored himself. He flys around and loses an edge alot.

Kerdiles came in as a two-year player, and that's where it stands right now.

I hope that is true, Kerdiles could use another year. Players should take that 2nd year to get bigger/stronger, instead of rushing into a 80 plus game schedule. We also do not have huge sums of money being offered to us, so it is hard to view it from their stand point. I think Turris was talented enough, but he was just a skinny little kid when he left to play amongst men. Turris finally seems to be figuring it out and is an important member of the Sens, but I am sure the 2nd year of school would have sped up that process. Side note, anyone see Stepan's shootout goal this week?
