Anyone know why DirecTV shows the game tonight on FSWi+ "Joined in Progress" at 9:00 instead of having the game right from the 8:00 start? It's not like that channel has anything running from 8:00 to 9:00. I'm hopeful it's in error, but I've never seen that particular error made. I may be listening to Brian Posick only for the first hour of the game - and the Badger Hockey games are the only reason I pay for the sports package during the hockey season. :mad:

Same here in Ohio. TWC listing shows game carried in progress from 10:30 to 11:30 EST on FCS Pacific. Entire Minny and Nodak games carried live tonight. Sucks for us.

Not exactly as easy tonight through one period as it was last night....getting out-shot, getting the first goal against such a defensive minded team would help considerably

Anchorage is always good for one solid effort each weekend. Usually it's Friday night...this weekend, it was obviously tonight. Despite the improved play, Bucky was able to get the sweep. This turnaround has been amazing and fun....in a tie for 4th in the WCHA now.

Can't even begin to speculate when Anchorage and the Badgers will match up again with the shift in leagues for Wisconsin and Anchorage in the revamped WCHA....

We'll see how far we've come in Grand Forks this weekend. Gotta get at least two points.

I hope Lee's not out for long. Just when you think the team is firing on all cylinders (less Zulinick), bam. I can't recall if he's ever been concussed before.....

Not entirely thrilled at all with the Saturday game, other than being a win. UAA played up a few nothces and UW played down a few, but they did pull out a critical win. I was looking for some consistancy in play.

HUGE series with the sue. I honestly didn't think UW would be in a spot to be in a big series back in December, but the D has really stepped up and the O has progressed just enough being at full strength.

Andy, do you know what is going on with Wittcow (sp)? I like seeing Drake out there and getting a chance to play, but it would be nice to get Wittcow back for his size against UND.

Injured his shoulder in the Friday game vs Minnesota State. He's been skating, don't think cleared for contact yet. Don't think it should be too long.

He sat out a long stretch last season after the concussion he suffered in North Dakota. I don't think he returned until the WCHA playoffs.

Can't see it very well, because the ref was in the way. Didn't look like that bad of a hit to me...

Seems pretty cut and dried that Lee was whacked right in the head. Should have been a clear call. It's an unfortunate play though. Looks like the puck takes a bad hop and Lee extends right at the wrong instant. Man, kinda like leaving your house, going back because you forgot your phone, only to leave again just in time to get hit by a truck.
Hope he is going to be ok...

Ugh to the folks behind us who did a 20 minute oration on how Lee was singing soprano because he took a nut shot. Good thing they were really watching the game...

The easy road is now done, the Badgers are back to climbing the mountain to finish the seaon w/ the only "easy" games left against Bemidji and Penn St.

Good to see them take four points this weekend, but I feel they won a game they didn't deserve to on saturday. The team was sloppy and UAA gave a much better effort than friday. Peterson and Rumpel give the team a chance to win every night, hopefully that continues and the offense improves. Jefferson Dahl had a nice effort, he might need to really step up if Derek Lee is out for awhile.

Still hopeful, which is an amazing place to be compared to 2 months ago.
