It could be snowing down here in Atlanta (2" - 4" possible and people are losing their minds) at gametime! Drop the Puck!
We lived there for four years (love the place) and are headed there Saturday afternoon. Praying the roads are cleared up around 0500 Sunday.
Berry is starting in goal today, I like it. At this point I have more confidence in him. I hope they let Kunin play, but I doubt they will. They are off next week, so burn Master Luke out and then let him catch up on the rest.
Greenway will be out tomorrow with what seemed to be a shoulder injury. Could be out a couple of weeks.
That was a fun game to go to, love the 3rd tier, first row center ice seats. I haven't had free ice cream in forever since the women stopped the program and then you would get it almost every weekend. It was great that UW jumped on them right away, though the flow was not the best. The 4th line played very well. They had the best spurts of sustained pressure. I was excited to have a band there, it is a must at the games. There was a better than expected student crowd, and they did a great job too. MSU played better as t he game went on, I suspect a 2-1 game tonight. And we got into the RR tracks lot before the money grabbers got there, so I got to park for free! Free ice cream, free parking, a win! Can't beat that.
Even after the Culver's promotion officially ended for the women's team, it didn't actually end -- people have been collecting their free scoop!
Interesting in the ice cream...
Jurusik sure makes me nervous at times, but he played well other than the first goal and the non-goal. Clearly the non-goal was a non-goal, I don't know that Anastos was griping about. A sweep in the b6! Bring on the rodents, after yet another bye week. Err.
Frozen custard Timmy; yes there's a difference, buddy! MY taste rates them; 4 - ice cream, 3 - frozen yogurt, 2 - frozen custard, #1 gelato!![]()
Good thing they have off next weekend. Really hope he can be back for the Goofs in two weeks.
Andy Baggot said:Three: UW associate head coach Mark Osiecki said Sunday that he expects freshman defenseman JD Greenway to be available Jan. 20 and 21 when the Badgers return to action by hosting Minnesota. Greenway suffered an upper-body injury during the second period Friday vs. the Spartans and didn't play Saturday.

good news on greenway, though the d played well without him. He looks a little raw and green at times.

I don't know what replays they may have shown on TV, but the replay in the arena showed the puck slowly moving across the line and then the glove covering it up before it was fully over the line.
It was called a goal on the ice and personally I think that call should have stood.
In what I saw, there was no definitive camera shot that showed when the glove stopped the movement of the puck. For all we know, the puck could have went over the line before it was stopped, or it could have been stopped as soon as the glove obstructs the view of the puck.
Without clear video to show the puck not going over the line, I think the call on the ice should have been left as called. I would have said the same thing if it was called a no-goal...just not enough evidence to overturn the call.
I think Anastos had a solid basis for his complaint, and seeing that he sits on the rules committee, he probably has a better knowledge than most coaches.
