Based on the WCHA composite schedule, UW plays Northern Michigan 4 times next season. 2 in GB to start the season, and then again in Madison on 11/4 and 11/5.

That doesn't look like a typo either...

From the press release:
Northern Michigan – Wisconsin (two-game series in Green Bay, two game series at Madison)

UW released their full non-conference schedule, along with a Baggot article on the coaches' connections to the schedule.

Saturday BC game moved to Sunday to avoid the OSU night football game.

Northern 4 times in a month, that's different.

There were 3 meetings left in the deal between the teams. Was supposed to be in Green Bay this year & 2018 and Madison in 2017, but both teams had the first weekend of November open. So they'll meet twice this year and then Green Bay next year to finish the contract.

I know it's a bit different, but last year at Camp Randall they had Tyus Jones introduce Jump Around, which seemed monumentally stupid to me.

Anyway, here's a good article about the 2006 team, how they're following Pavs and Elliott in the playoffs and how close they all are.

Are you sure? This is the first I'm seeing/hearing of that, and I was at all the games last year.

Death to Big Ten hockey, Bring back the CCHA and WCHA of days of old.

Well, when Notre Dame joins next year, 5 of the 7 Big10 teams will be former WCHA members. I guess it depends on how big you want the conference to be/which version of the WCHA you are referring to.

Is it just NoDak and Denver you miss, or CC, Duluth, and Tech too? I am assuming that you aren't begging to play St Cloud, Mankato, Anchorage, Omaha, Bemidji, or Northern more/again.

That's a shytload of hockey talent. Is Heatley healthy? Be cool to see him and Reinprecht skate together again.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol I: Dawn of the Fifth Age of UW Hockey!

So its the 2006s against the field?

Yup, that is how Milewski was promoting it.

Oh, and by the way, Mike Richter has a degree from Yale in "Ethics, Politics and Economics with a concentration in Environmental Policy".

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol I: Dawn of the Fifth Age of UW Hockey!

On TWC 32 right now is the 2006 3OT game against Cornell. As of this writing, still third period, so a long ways to go...

Did they re-run the entire game? I'm amazed that they had the rights to re-run that.
