Dhooghe is listed as 5'2 136 (link: 1/27/16 USA hockey story) & (link: 4/13/16 Chicago Tribune Story) That is crazy small in stature.
Nice article from Scout about some of the upcoming recruits with some feedback from them on why they picked UW.
I see that now and have adjusted the spreadsheet.
McGuire is listed as both a forward and a defenseman in 2017-2018. Good work keeping up with all the developments!
****it. I got him out of the Junior year but forgot Senior year.
You people keep me on my toes, no doubt about that.

Been out of the loop for awhile and was wondering why Berkovitz is not shown on the roster. Saw this Duck's article a couple of days ago stating he will be playing for the Badgers this fall.

10% chance he plays D1 college hockey.

Be very careful reading @Bobby_Kunz12 work. Was caught fabricating quotes & attributing them to recent UW hockey recruits in his last piece.
I'm willing to give him a chance and see what he can bring to the UW media coverage. I'd love to see another outlet pick up regular coverage of recruits, players, games, coaches, press conferences...
He got Emberson's name wrong multiple times and I'm pretty sure he wrote that one of the recruits was first going to play for the London Knights. Then he fabricated quotes from recruits and you still think he deserves a chance?

Cole Krygier - Cole plays against his twin brother, fellow Wisconsin commit Christian, which motivates him on a constant basis. Cole plays for Compuware 16U and was drafted in the 10th round in the OHL draft to the London Knights, where he will play before joining the Badgers.
Yeah, the London Knights thing was the kicker for me. If that happens, the kid is literally no longer a UW recruit. It's like suggesting that a UW basketball recruit is going to get a nice contract from a booster.

But beyond that, making up quotes... jeez. He's got some things to learn, if we want to put it mildly. More likely he really shouldn't be writing anything after that.
Yup, there were some goof-ups in his article. I think a few people probably brought that to his attention.
To the fans, it feels like a low-risk/high-reward situation. Either he gets his act together and becomes a solid source of information for UW fans or he doesn't. If he does, that's great, more media coverage; if he doesn't we are in the same place that we are now with Baggot toeing the company line at UWBadgers.com and Milewski covering from WSJ.
From that perspective, I'll take the risk to see if he can get his head on straight and become another voice for Badger hockey information.
