I was going to post the same thing. At first, it's a natural reaction when something is coming at your head, but I was a baseball catcher for over a decade and you eventually learn to trust your mask and stay on it.
 
That was huge, my friends! Can someone tell Monty that he is 6-4 and his shoves are at the face level of everyone else? Clearly PSU knew they could get to him.

I think this may be the first time in a long time we were on the brink, needed a huge series and swept on the road against a higher ranked opponent (PW/NPI)? Defensive play was amazing. Goal by Tulk and killing the 5min major from Monty took the air all out of that barn. It was glorious to see!

He plays so low, clearly teams try to shoot high on him. But he def does need to stand tall a bit more. Impressive performance tonight, though.

I'll take a Frosh with his record though. No doubt!
 
I'd also like to highlight how outstanding Brink, Knox, and Palodichuk played this weekend. They have really stepped up. Just heard Monty, bc it's his 3rd major, he sits for the Wed game vs. OSU. Learn the lesson, pick up, move on. We need him!

Unfortunate for him and the Badgers, but it's difficult to say he didn't earn it.

You mean like Wisconsin did with Hastings? Look, I'm happy for Hastings and want him to be successful at Wisconsin because I appreciate what he did for 11 years in Mankato, but you have to see the irony in your post.
