It's there now. Paula a little late to the punch but she got it.Looks like we were snubbed from the Saturday Recap. No mention of our game whatsoever.

Agree on the top part. Reminds me of Mich. St still receiving still receiving 5 first place votes the weekend after we swept them. Is there anyway to see who votes for who like you can in football? I would love to see who is still giving Mich St first place votes. I thought we for sure we would be #1, but looking at Mich. schedule, they've played a slightly tougher schedule and have no bad losses where we technically have 1 and two ok-ish ties. In the future, I would rather be #2 than #1 because of the target on your back, but being #1 would've definitely helped ticket sales for the Holiday Face-off so that kinda sucks. Being #1 just brings out Milwaukee area non-hockey Badger fans.Basically split at the top now w/ MI and I really don't care too much about the polls, but I question the voters who are still giving Sparty & Dartmouth 1st place votes. Clearly there's a lot of bias there.
Just SoS and the fact MI has 4 of their wins against 2 of the worst teams in hockey should give WI the nod.
Anyway, eyes on the prize and got a hell of a Holiday tourney coming up in MKE. If there is ever a time to feed the beast and make definitive statements, it is now.
Pretty sure there is leeway on the roster number this year. MTU brought a goalie in last year for second semester.
That's because the two Mercyhurst(the worst team in Div.1) games killed their SOS. They've played 8 games against teams currently in the top 10 compared to Wisconsin's 4, so I would say yes, they've had a tougher schedule on that assessment.I don't know that the coaches/press are required to publish their voting sheets. Michigan, as of now has 16th toughest SoS and WI is 5th toughest according to NPI chart.
Hey man, I get it, ya play the games on the schedule. But RM and Mercyhurst?! You can't hang your hat & expect to get credit for that if you're a MI fan. They are 5-1 each against common opponents, WI thoroughly outplayed MI in each game at Yost despite the split head to head, and swept Sparty at their barn. Brutal injury, and I still dont understand what Ali was thinking. I know the game is fast but that hit is a no no taught from an early age.Schulz surgery on leg and ankle confirmed by Todd Milewski: https://madison.com/sports/college/hockey/article_045ba8d0-71ab-5b5f-8652-894452737856.html
Hensler and Osburn make the prelim roster for World Juniors. With Schulz out they are down to 5 defense and Dexheimer is out 12/28 for fighting. So even with Horbach they are at 5 D. Yikes.Brutal injury, and I still dont understand what Ali was thinking. I know the game is fast but that hit is a no no taught from an early age.
Not to speculate but if he is able to come back this yr as mentioned in the article, sounds like not much tendon/ligament damage, but who knows as they dont get into that much detail.
His +/- was great, it's going to be impossible to replace that.Schulz surgery on leg and ankle confirmed by Todd Milewski: https://madison.com/sports/college/hockey/article_045ba8d0-71ab-5b5f-8652-894452737856.html
Hopefully us scheduling series against BOTH Alaska schools doesn’t come back to bite us!Hey man, I get it, ya play the games on the schedule. But RM and Mercyhurst?! With the new NPI losses that make your rating go down can be removed once a team has accrued 12 wins. So assuming we take care of business with two wins against AA it shouldn't hurt the team in any way.Well, Alaska Anchorage plays a much weaker SoS than Alaska...so thats the one that could be a concern. But AA also needs to win some games, to be blunt.
Alaska plays the 4th most dofficult SoS at this point.
