Disagree that they are getting outworked. They're just so bad at making simple plays that they need to work 10 times harder than other teams to get the same result.

You wanna see a brainless player in OT? Watch Lindmark in the 20 seconds leading up to the OT goal. Two dumbass turnovers and got walked right before the goal. That is our captain LMAO.

Posick keeps lamenting their 1 goal losses. Many happen very late in the game and they just seem to fall apart when the game pressure ramps up. All these close losses are not just bad luck. They really are shaky when things get tight. They have to know that possession in OT is everything yet they continues to force things that aren't there and I think it speaks to their lack of poise under pressure.

Okay, so a few thinners in now after watching both games…

At the risk of getting pummeled here…did anyone think Wisconsin would win tonight? They’ve lost 8 1-goal games coming into this night so no resume for winning close games.

What pisses me off is Hastings inherited a full cupboard and despite losing Lucius, Stramel and Whitelaw still has a great roster. So what gives? What is the problem?

It's just so frustrating because they are right there with the #1 team in the country. A 4-0 win and three games they lost by one goal, two of which came in overtime.

I really don't see a full cupboard. They have some good players, but beyond Finley I'm not sure there's a player that would be on the top 2 lines on any of the NCAA tournament quality teams. Morrissey will get there.

I feel good about the freshman and that they will develop into great players for Wisconsin. We are just in a spot where the guys who were driving last year's team left and the guys we replaced them with are not as good at this time. Gap year unfortunately.
