Wisconsin Hockey 20-21 Give Us A Reason To Believe

**** the entire season, including the women. The NCAA should just use all games as exhibition or practice. Are seniors eligible to return or is that football only?

We're going to end up with some teams playing twice as many games like NCAA football, which is turning into a disaster (at least for the Big 10 and Pac 12).

I just can't get fired up about college hockey this year. I can't even critique the Badgers because I haven't seen enough of them. Maybe the NHL will get me excited, if.....

Some questions and answers from Todd M here: https://madison.com/wsj/sports/coll...n_0821632e-6b83-5223-a4ed-0c8dee8e799d.html#9

This gem is something else: "This year specifically, the Badgers were a net minus-1 in offseason transfers (forwards Sean Dhooghe and Mick Messner out and goalie Robbie Beydoun in). There were some rumblings that athletics administration didn't let the coaches bring in a replacement forward from their list of committed recruits after those moves."

Pandemic, let's let the team struggle with a small roster to save a few bucks. Thanks UW.......

Lame. Malmquist was ready to play for UW this season after a year of seasoning in the BCHL. I was shocked when they didn't include him in the year's Fr. class.

Preach on, brother. We all should have seen this coming... it's a disaster and there is no way that it ends well.

I am a bit excited about the Canadian division for the NHL. Should be fun watching the rivalries there play out throughout the season.

You know the CDC says even though you supposedly can get covid more than once statistically speaking so far it's been rare. Just a thought but if the teams get it, get through it (hopefully with no serious issues) then perhaps the season could progress with no more positive covid tests?

From what I understood it was all sports, though the scholarships are yearly renewed, so if you are a Sr this year, there is no guarantee your will be renewed for next year. Or you may be a Sr and graduating, so you would not be coming back as your decision.

Badger against Badger tonight. Let's get through without injuries and smack some rodent around this weekend. They are ripe for the pickings.

Are Holloway and Caufield able to play this weekend or do they need to quarantine?

This is gonna be a fun couple of weeks. WJC, MN v WI, NHL then MN HS

Saw a tweet from Bob McKenzie that several players with the NHL So. Cali teams were scheduled to take a private charter after tonight's game which enables them to join their respective camps immediately once they pass NHL protocol. If taking public transportation US has a mandatory 1 week quarantine then still need to pass NCAA/NHL protocols. Don't know if that's accurate, yet seems to make sense.

Todd D Mileski said that they can play right away since they are getting tested every day.

Holloway and Caufield were on fire in the Juniors, the question is will the rest of your team be able to keep up with them now? LOL!

Not sure if I should smoke the rodents tomorrow on the Traeger or panko crust and fry them? I'm feeling like crunch is the way to go.
