Re: Wisconsin Badgers 2010-2011, The next generation.
Eaves went with Goody again a "must win" game, juts like the Saturday UND and UMD games. This time it worked out, though against a lesser opponent.
UAA at some point was going to break that long losing streak to UW, and it finally happened. Even a blind gopher falls in a hole once and awhile.

Which bodes well for UW breaking the OT streak. At some point. In the future. Maybe the far far away future. Maybe our gopher is blind and paralyzed and his wheelchair won't fit into the hole. Maybe he doesn't have a wheelchair and his buddies forgot to feed him and now he's just a little furry frozen carcass in someone's lawn. We're screwed.

Moral of the story: You can't depend on a gopher for
anything (other than to annoy the &*^&* out of you); not even to beat the landcows.
The Friday loss, when you think about it, isn't a total shock when you take into consideration how many of the lads had never made the trek from WI to AK. Obviously they were not ready to go, being outshot (outshot=outworked) like they were.
So is 6-0 too much to hope for? Probably. But if they lose to Canisius I'm going back on thinner.
