Tiggies aren't even as hard as Lampl's wiener in a threesome. Ha ha ha ha.

On Wisconsin!

You might want to worry about your own team this weekend. They look pretty weak right now. I mean Michigan Tech. REALLY???

Park your nonsense. CC is his team. He just lives in a state of perpetual denial. ;)

Based on his signature I would say co14ers is a Denver fan.

Edit: Or maybe you're just being sarcastic and I don't get it. Yeah, I'm going with that one. :o

This weekend should be fun and exciting to bad I can't make the trip. If the Badgers play like they did Saturday they will be hard to beat by any team. I know i'm a Badger fan through and through but that doesn't effect my prediction for this week which is:

Friday-UW 4 CC 2
Saturday-UW 3 CC 2

Badgers are to hungery to lose a game now, look out. Also are the games on TV this weekend or at least on web.

Re: Wisconsin at CC - Born Small... Now Huge... Winning... Bring it..!

Considering how up and down this season has gone for the Badgers, no outcome from this weekend would really surprise me. With the exception of UW advancing with a pair of blow-out type wins as a mild surprise. Otherwise, even money across the board with the other options.

Re: Wisconsin at CC - Born Small... Now Huge... Winning... Bring it..!

How about because it's the right thing to say? Saying CC will end it in two would be fairly retarded of Scotty. Also probably going to be true.

It is not the right thing to say.

So what you are saying is this. "Well boys, we've got three games, and it is ok to lose one of them". Before you even play them? Never have I entered a contest where defeat was ok or expected? Did Herb Brooks and the 1980 team expect defeat? Scotty does not have to say it will end in two (at least publicly), but I am sure he will tell the boys that is their goal. So I guess what you mean is that CC should win Friday, but go ahead and just forfeit the Saturday game to Wisconson and take a chance on winning Sunday? I will never buy your type of thinking! Never!

Go Tigers!!

I understand you. Don't take this in a negative way, but as a fan I have been much more fearful of past Wisconsin teams. Watching the Badgers some this season gives me the feeling that this CC team is just as good or talented as this current set of Badgers. For one, your team is just as young as the CC team. I expect a great hockey series. Our turn to enjoy the games!

No offense taken, This isn't the Badger team of 05-06 or 99-00, if they were they wouldn't be on the road for the first round. The fact that they finished 6 & & would suggest that they are two closely matched teams and you'd expect a good series. It's just hard to know which Badger team is actually going to show up, if this UW team plays up to the level they have shown they are a able to, they could go on quite an enjoyable playoff run. At the same time, if the Badgers play down to the level they have shown they are as equally capable of, this season will be (mercifully) over post haste.

No, I meant publically. But, having the team mentally prepared that 3 games is a possibility isn't a bad thing either. Besides, how many Saturday games have they won lately?

Panicking is for amateurs and morons

You make a choice to win, and you win

Wow. I guess I'll just roll with this logic. CC has made the choice to lose 16 times this season, what makes you think they won't make that choice again?

Re: Wisconsin at CC - Born Small... Now Huge... Winning... Bring it..!

CC = "Duh winning!"

The best way to describe our season is to compare the Tigers to Charlie Sheen. Come on, CC has Tiger Blood in their systems, just like sheen. That's what allows us to survive the highs (beating DU twice, UND, UNO, UMD, and Wisconsin) and survive the horrific losses we've had by five goals or more. In other words, CC's play is as bipolar as Charlie Sheen's personality. We have no clue what will happen each night, but we know that a win is always possible (or a crippling loss). Jaden Schwartz could have a five point night or Howe could let in 5 of the first 7 shots... The Tigers have had little consistency until the last few weekends. Same for Mr. Sheen, he has little consistency. One day he has a career, the next day he doesn't.

I wouldn't be surprised if CC sweeps the Badgers out of Colorado. I wouldn't be surprised if the Badgers kill us. At the end of the day, we have had a "winning" season; that's more than we expected in October.

Re: Wisconsin at CC - Born Small... Now Huge... Winning... Bring it..!

What happened or where did that one badger poster go? What was his name? UW14 or something like that. I remember when he was a rookie here on the board a few years ago his spelling was weak and he got a lot of bad rep etc...for his posts. Where did he go? Why does he not post now?

Shhh... let sleeping dogs lie. We also seemed to lose VW...

I understand, and agree with you. Saturday games, well I don't remember a win. Just one Saturday tie of late comes to mind. Your point about Saturdays is valid!!

Go Tigers!!

Re: Wisconsin at CC - Born Small... Now Huge... Winning... Bring it..!

Wednesday, and I am already getting pumped up for this series. Just my opinion, but five CC Tigers are key to the success of the team this weekend.

Tyler Johnson
Stephen Schultz
Rylan Schwartz
Jaden Schwartz
Joe Howe

Go get'em Tigers!!

I think it's almost a given they must play well, the key will be if other Tigers can step up.

Yep. We need some role players to come up big this weekend.

We have had the role players step it up and play well of late. Other then Stephen Schultz who has been scoring of late? Coach Owens said just last night during his radio show that Jaden and Rylan need to have a big weekend. Role players alone will not win this series. Our stars need to be stars this weekend! Rylan has really slumped the second half of the season. When I was talking with Jaden and Rylan's father (Rick) during the last home series he too said Rylan needs to step it up. I am not saying Rylan has to score, but it would be helpful to the team for him to be getting points of some kind. Like when Rylan was feeding Jaden in the first half of the season etc...Or better yet, fake out Wisconsin and have Jaden feed Rylan all weekend!

Re: Wisconsin at CC - Born Small... Now Huge... Winning... Bring it..!

I agree. Usually most teams that have postseason success have a good combination of star players and role players contributing. Hopefully that will happen this weekend for us. Beat them Badgers!!
