Winter 2015 - boom or snow job?

Re: Winter 2015 - boom or snow job?

Below freezing again. I suppose eventually spring will arrive.

My calendar is running slow this year. :(

Re: Winter 2015 - boom or snow job?

Last year the Twin Cities were getting snow into mid-May. If you're getting our weather from last year, strap in for a fun spring.

Re: Winter 2015 - boom or snow job?

Was it last year that a spot in St Paul still had remaining snow in June or July?

This is about all I could find on that subject (snow, June, Mpls): http://bringmethenews.com/2014/06/23/minnesotas-giant-snow-piles-havent-melted-yet/

I just remember that the pile at the end of my driveway melted right about the same time as the school year ended for my nieces. And that was just for my driveway. School years end late in MN compared to other parts of the country, early to mid-June.

Re: Winter 2015 - boom or snow job?

The Portland Sea Dogs home opener was postponed because of the snow. Back in February when we were getting buried by snow, they guaranteed they'd be ready for the opener. They were, until last night. Now we get two tickets for every one we had to the opener. My friend is married to Stump Merrill's granddaughter and is a huge Yankees fan, so we'll have to make at least one a Trenton Thunder game...

Quite a difference here but still have spotty snow in garden. Inland from me, woods are still completely covered
FInally gone in our yard but next door the guy still has some on the lawn.

Re: Winter 2015 - boom or snow job?

Winter returned to West Michigan yesterday, bringing sleet and freezing rain. Businesses shut down yesterday because there was a half-inch of ice on the road.

Re: Winter 2015 - boom or snow job?

Took me 30 min to get the ice off my windshield to drive home. Ugh
