I agree though that you can't doubt his sincerity and honesty in those news letters that he published...

I think that whole charge is bogus.

And Paul is no more of a lunatic than a lot of activists. His economic theories are fringe and likely wrong. We have real lunatics in the GOP field, don't debase the currency of the term.

See what I did there?

Also, I would trust Paul with "the button" more than any other candidate including Obama. There's no way he's pressing it, no matter what.

Why is it bogus? Lets say one day you let someone use your ID, and that person posts a bunch of racist stuff. You then come out and say "sorry, I let the guy post under my name but I didn't know what he was writing". Okay, fine, we cut you some slack. Now lets say he does the same thing 20 more times over several years. Its your name being used. Are you STILL going to proclaim innocence? Gimme a break. Paul made a million bucks publishing Klan speak. Unless your name is Mitt Romney, I find it hard to believe most people wouldn't be paying attention to a venture that was netting them a million bucks. Ron Paul is a dirtbag. I don't care if he sincerely believes the stuff he published or not.

Apparently nobody remembered that Kenya is a Christian country. Imagine, instead, that he were part Sudanese?

Or am I giving the public too much credit for knowing the difference?

Ha! Wait til they need to figure out how to take care of their elderly parents without the help they currently get (which isn't enough to take care of the basics in many cases). Even if you are very well off you can't do that for more than a few yrs without unfunding your kids education. Oh, wait! That is a good thing because then the kids won't be indoctrinated. I get it now.

It seems to me that the Supreme Court is doing BO a big favor by agreeing to rule on Obamacare before the election. Suppose they rule that it is unconstitutional. BO benefits in two ways:
> he can blame it on Congress, they wrote it, not him.
> it undercuts one of the Republicans most potent reasons to vote for them: they no longer can run on a platform that they will repeal Obamacare.
